With Hayes, McCrory out, Snyder puts foot back in... mouth

GOP field is now open, and attorney John Snyder wasted no time before screaming partisan quips at the 8th District from his home in the 9th.

"(I'll) balance what my responsibilities are to my family and what I see as the failed policies of Larry Kissell," Snyder said. "It's like having Jimmy Carter redux."

Asked about why he doesn't challenge his own Representative, Sue Myrick, John said nothing since that question never came from the Monroe Enquirer Journal.

Any chance you found where Singapore ex-pats that never lived in the 8th in the first place absentee vote? Is it Virgina Foxx country in Mocksville, NC by any chance? Maybe 132 Lexington Road and real close to Vernon Robinson's house?

Come on, DOME. Is DA John Snyder a resident of the 8th or 9th?

It's not nearly as hard to find out as if he failed the bar exam 4 times, then upon passing the 5th time said of finally being Union County DA “It's very, very exciting - a lifelong dream,” Snyder said, (Charlotte Observer, 11/02/06) before his Congressional overtures a few months later.

Who doesn't get this is a horse race but me?

Has Union County DA Snyder ever voted in the 8th or does he live in the 9th with all the other D.C. recruits for the 8th District seat (plus that lady from Singapore that used to live in the 2nd)?

Oh, so is Snyder's palatial estate in the 8th or just close to the trailer parks he seeks to represent, yet still in a gated 9th District community represented by Myrick that pollutes same?

Never claimed Myers Park was. And the area outside Matthews which has a Matthews postal address but is not Matthews proper is partially in the 8th.

It's Fantasyland, which is about 12 miles South of Fictionville in Misrepresentation County. Make sure you leave early, bring your own snacks and drinks, and check that your GPS is working, because you will get lost.

Found Mia's old address from her general assembly days.

184 Aloha Drive, while affluent sounding, is nowhere near the 8th. Looks like she either lived in the 2nd or 7th all those years ago.

Typical.

That's 0 for 3 GOP, and let me just pre-empt your next top notch recruit by pointing out Wasilla isn't in the 8th District either.

No it isn't. Matthews and Indian Trail are both smack dab in the 9th. That whole area between Charlotte and Monroe is Myrick McMansion country, not the 8th.

McCrory lives in super affluent Myers Park. He's not called Myers Park Pat for renting a tenement in Grier Heights.

And knowing White, she's probably telling the Singapore press right now that she's a People's Action Party candidate for Parliament in 2010, either that or going to grad school. She's certainly not afraid of being called a "carpetbagger" as long as they spell her name right, but I'm sure she appreciates your support.

Concededly, I didn't know where Pat McCrory lives, but Mia White at least was a resident of the 8th. Its hard to call her a carpetbagger when at least she lived there for a significant amount of time.
