Gosh, you are enjoying the 2009 elections way to much. Do you really think that the democrat will always win forever because of bush. Keep dreaming, because as sure as the democrats kicked it in 09, they will get put back in their box in a later election. People are already sick of obama,democrat congress and senate. As for cooper I think he is good man, but if runs in 2010, it will not be his year.

Oh Gosh by Gosh what are you talking about. Senator Burr has not abandoned constituent services to run for 2010. He is continuing to do his job and is working hard at it. The only ones running a campaign right now is the Democrats who never did end the campaign. I would predict that by the time he does begin to campaign Bush will look much better than the current president does.

Sounds like Burr's the one on the hot seat.

He's losing to an unannounced yellow dog and abandoning constituent services 20 months out to run for 2010.

Why should Cooper do anything but watch the implosion with the rest of us?

Incumbents that deserve re-election don't run for it, they do their job.

Maybe he hired Dole and McCrory stragglers and wants to bring in Bush for a fundraiser and run a Godless ad before the rush. HA!

No matter what we do, Burr will lose.

The truth is, he lost the Blue Dog vote the moment he voted for TARP against 98% opposition. Without the Blue Dog vote, the GOP loses the seat. Full stop.

The only way the GOP can keep Burr's seat, is to defeat him in the primary, and thus demonstrate to the Blue Dogs that we can police our own.

Chad Adams means what he says.

I enjoyed discussing the future of the GOP with David Robinson, and his vision for the use of communications technology is sound. I would like to help implement some of those goals.

But another candidate has stood up with lofty speeches and secret digs, promising the moon to Constitutionalists, and even demanding that we hold them all accountable! Yes, we must put principles above politics, and yes, I am a Constitutionalist before I am a Republican. But then, in the same breath he states that we absolutely MUST stand behind Richard Burr in 2010.

I beg to differ, sir!

If we are going to 'hold them accountable,' then let's start with the TARP bailout. Socialism is never justified, and double-speak even less. The Old Guard has dropped the ball, so why would we want to give it back to them?

Chad Adams has a better direction. Please let everybody know.

Why would Adams have to be "mentally" ready? Lord, here he is the "King" and he, and he alone, will make the party. Glory be the world, he has arrived. The "King" has arrived and will save the world. Really, Adams does not have what it takes, simply said, he is a wantbe. He is not capable other then being a performer "onstage". How many youtube video's of yourself does he need? Too many other qualified candidates to consider and NC is not that hard up to want Chad Adams.

I guess it is exciting when you have your Speaker of the State House in federal prison. What party was he again. And I won't go into former Agri. sec, couple state reps, and even one of the state reps son who was a judge.

Was it ever exciting to be a Republican? Maybe around the time of the Reagan tax increase of 1982, "the largest peacetime tax increase in American history," according to conservative economist Bruce Bartlett. That was probably pretty exciting!
