This poll was conducted over the weekend of July 10 - 12. So it has to be skewed.

Bev's supporters were probably all out of town. The rich folk visit their beach places over the weekends or go to their mountain retreats. So by calling over a July weekend you are only going to get to talk with the poor folk who cannot afford to travel. Poor people are always mad at somebody.

Now if you call back during the week the rich will probably praise Bev to the highest.

You will never get real results talking to poor folk over a July weekend. Talk with the rich folk if you want to know something. And you can't get them on a weekend! I would have thought that a "Democratic-leaning" pollster would have known that. And what were they doing working on a weekend? Doesn't everybody take the week of the 4th off?

Maybe the people of north carolina can vote for their first republican governor in 20yrs in 2012. It couldn't be worse than what we have been putting up with from Hunt, Easley, and Perdue. Not to mention Basnight, Rand, and the rest of the gang in raleigh. We need a republican governor, to have a balance of power in raleigh. The democrats absolute power in raleigh is part of the problem out there.

Why isn't this article on the front page? We should all send her an e-mai, but she probably doesn't read them. She doesn't want to know how we feel about her. I doubt if she will be re-elected. I know I won't vote for her if I vote at all because I'm tired of their lies to get elected and right now I don't trust the whole lot of them. They are self centered rich crooks. They forget that they are there for the people and not to fill their pockets and do favors for their friends. Until Basnight and Rand are gone, don't expect things to get any better. They are in control. I can almost guarantee the reason she wants so much tax money is so she can give them or another crony of hers the money for the special interest projects they want. She forgot her promise if she was govenor she wouldn't raise taxes. She said that so she could fool voters and get her foot in the door. She has really let the taxpayers down.

All her friends should be state employees! The worst that has happen to them so far is a pay cut. I have no doubt that we could do without 25% of the current number of state employee!!!!!!!!!! At this point she has lost my vote! It will take the balance of her term to get it back, and she hasn't even started yet!

From her mouth, she said she was not concerned with poll numbers, so she must not be planning a second term!

Mark Basnight and Tony Rand are backing her. They both have powerful positions in Raleigh. You watch, they will comment on this article like they always do defending her. They have to back her so they can spend our money on their special interests like Basnight's pier we don't need to have to pay for right now or ever. Basnight promises that no money in the budget will be used for this pier. She signed Basnight's bill to not allow plastic bags in his district anymore. Did she think about the trees that will have to be cut down just so his district will have to use paper bags? He said the plastic bags were littering the beach. Well, pick them up and save the trees dummy.

I just want to know who the 25% are that are behind her...because it sure isn't the state employees, the taxpayers or anyone who knows she is governor!

She is so inept...and did anyone ever get an answer as to how she comes up with budget numbers? I know when she was asked where she came up with the $5 million per day she refused to answer...nice open-book policy there! *sigh*

Won't matter at all in 2012. She'll be "re-elected" in a landslide. The Dimorats control the "vote" counting, remember. And the Repugs let 'em get by with it. They are ALL LIARS, THIEVES, AND CROOKS.

Told ya! Can't fix something as broken as NC govt! High unemployment plus high taxes = massive budget gap and ticked off citizens. Do something to quid pro quo and GA/HOL waste, and restructure nc corp tax laws to encourage (not discourage) business expansion and job creation. And, enough with the govt jobs/expansion already...we need private sector jobs in NC, please!!!!
