"Most recently he was Whalen's Senate communications director."??? Do you mean most recently, he was Shuler's House office communications director?

WHY would a nice 28 year old guy want to 'direct' the most corrupt state party of corruption in America? WHAT will he DO to clean it up? WILL the 'crackkks allow cleansing? He will have had enough within a few months...STRIVE to be SMARTER than the controlling party of SLAVERY in NC wants you to be!

Time to remove this "Culture of Corruption" from Raleigh. I believe a clean slate of fiscal conservatives can find enough pork to eliminate the need to cut Trooper/Teacher pay. With 2 or 3 more pending indictments and our electorate may finally see the light.

Who cares.Another group of libs. All the NC dems have done is made us one of the highest taxed states in the country, huge budget deficits, corruption from top to bottom and out of control unemployment and low wages-
Sounds like a real track record there-If the media and N&O hadn't been in bed with them for the past 70 years we might of had decent government.

unsourced gossip

This is unsourced gossip.

The politco article references anonymous "Pelosi allies" and then presents us with a Letterman style top ten list, complete with "dishonorable mentions."

Politics is like pro-wrestling. Only the mouthbreathers think it's real.

I've got two tickets to Pelosi/Shuler Thunderdome if any Republicans are buying.

What an enviable position for a smart democrat! Pelosi is at the top of other lists of Congress critters also - the ones we'd most like to see
NOT in service!

...I assume you mean to credit Mr. Christensen with that factoid in the third paragraph and not to say he will be part of picking the new chair...

Re: Does it matter if they can name the Council of State?

It is obviously a left wing group that is not interested in true conservation. Otherwise it would have named Kay Hagan to the list for her ownership in numerous pollution creating oil rigs in the Midwest.Ryan did you see how many Green Party members it has endorsed? No, it is strictly going after Republican candidates, period. Why did you print this article at all? Look into the groups funding. Actual dig up the facts before you submit articles like this and others.

tell this person there is a rule about pouring money after bad. Obviously we have not learned that lesson in most of our school systems. But it does apply to most things.

Just a reminder to all who are not wanting a socialist system put in place in our great country. A Obama administration with 60 in the US Senate and a majority in the US House will lead us down into the depression a lot bigger than the Great Depression.

This is an organization that focuses on national elections, not who is or who isn't the State Auditor. I bet Mr. Massaro can name all 100 members of the Senate though.

Also, they misspelled Raleigh on the Web site until I pointed it out. In their defense, Sir Walter never spelled his name that way either.
