America's Funniest Home Governors.

During Senator Obama’s campaign stop in Raleigh, the good Senator said that Gov. Easley was one of the funniest governors! Of course we must make allowances for all candidates as they must be quick on their feet in front of large audiences. But Governor Easley?…..one of the funniest governors?

Top ten reasons Sen. Obama may think Gov. Easley is one of the funniest governors:

10. Sen. Obama has never met any other governors.
9. None of the other governors have ever appeared on Mad Rachael’s Show.
8. He was really thinking that Gov. Easley may be funnier in person……. but Gov. Palin looks hotter in person. (Lechers for Pat 08)
7. He was actually talking about that laugh-a-minute comedian, Jim Hunt.
6. Easley had on those big, black framed glasses with the big, mustached nose and was doing the Apex Shuffle. (If the dear guv' was a foot or so taller he might have been mistaken for the vicious, big, bearded Palin supporter, the scourge of newspaper boys from the Manteo to Murphy.)
5. He’s still laughing about that 'Hillary/Rocky/pansy' business. Who’s the pansy now, Guv?
4. Easley reminds Obama of Joe Biden.
3. Obama was referring to Easley’s classic, yet lame, explanation of the mythical $60.00 cheeseburger. (That sucker must have weighted ten pounds.)
2. Obama was merely pointing out Gov. Easley to the crowd of North Carolinians so that the citizens might get a glimpse of their beloved, yet elusive, Governor. One lady replied, “I always thought he was taller.”

And the number one reason Senator Obama thinks Governor Easley is one of the funniest governors:

1. He thinks Easley is Sheriff Andy‘s boy…………..with better hair.

Shame on you guv. Appearing on the "Butch Madcow" show. I tried to come up with a name for the leftist sow and this is the finest I could craft. Sort of covers all the bases doesn't it. I believe this new moniker will take hold and stick with her throughout the balance of what I truly hope is a short career.

I do not question that our dear Governor is a very perceptive man. No doubt at all.

But just because you see a guy driving a pickup truck with a shotgun rack and two Obama stickers does not necessarily mean he is worried about his job.

Maybe he's Harvard Law and supporting a buddy.

CIVILITY WOULD HELP, BUT ...

If you can somehow require civility and reject lunacy, that would be helpful. Otherwise you might just as well allow the drooling, snapping dogs to howl until they tuck tail and run.

Easley on voter suppresion: "Well we always worry about that, we have seen it so many times from the Republican Party."

I do not recall any published or documented efforts of the Republican Party to suppress voters in NC. Matter of fact the only times I can think of voter suppression efforts goes all the way back to when the Democrats tried to suppress the efforts of the fusionist alliance between blacks and whites.

Easley is making false statements to make his and my state look like a bunch of backwards hillbillies. I can't wait for him to retire to Southport.
