You're missing one of the larger Facebook groups dedicated to an NC General Assembly bill: North Carolina State Sovereignty Movement has 849 members and is devoted "to convince the NC General Assembly to adopt a resolution declaring NC a sovereign state, under the 10th Amendment."

The corresponding legislation is HR 849, State's Right to Claim Sovereignty Over Certain Powers Under the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States

I'm sorry you missed her recent coverage of potential wind farms off the coast, a bill to regulate predatory lending, Sen. Burr's campaign finances or a Durham architect with a major federal commission.

Wow, four columns in one month. She's almost a good church going Catholic with that record.

Barb is a great reporter, a regular contributor to Dome and a constant presence on the front page of the N&O. Even if there were other reporters from North Carolina up in D.C., I'd still consider her the best we've got. Sorry RTB, I honestly have never read, let me re-prhase, I can not remember you addressing this before. I never accused you of being a closet anything and have never attacked your objectivity before. It just simply took me off guard when I saw some group names and no I didn't read all 126 of them.

I think you do a heck of a job on this blog, and really didn't mean to give you any flack. However, perhaps you should consider a closed Facebook profile if questions like this bother you so much.

RTB I see you are in 126 Facebook groups, some quite political, do you just join any group or are these a reflection of your political views?
