Religious exemption or "conscience clause is an awful idea and dangerous. What happens if a Scientologist becomes a pharmacist, many of them don't believe in psychiatric medications. How about someone who feels that premarital sex is a sin and refuses to fill prescriptions for not only birth control but medications for STD's or HIV? Also if you define something as interfering with implantation then IUD's are also out of the question.

I guess that depends on what you mean by outside.

The "religious exemption" is a dangerous path, leading directly to withholding of medication and treatment in favor of waiting for god to intervene.

Typo in the opening sentence.

If my position of protecting a living fetus who has a heart beat and brain activity is wrong well.....

Why does bat brings guns into this issue? Get rid of them? oh just like we are getting rid of deadly drugs? Should we just start abolishing your free speech contained in the 1st admendment while we are abolishing the 2nd and hey let's get rid of that pesky 4th admendment too. Criminals will always be able to obtain anything that is in demand. So when that bad guy is breaking down your door and is planning on using his gun, you just make that 911 and pray to God help gets to you in time.

We have stronger laws in place protecting your pet or any animal than we do protecting a unborn child. In this state if you kill a woman's fetus even if it is near term, IT IS NOT MURDER! That is a extremist position.

What Janet Colm is really saying is exactly what Janet Colm actually said. Your interpretation of her statement is ridiculous and wildly out of line with how most people see this issue. Indeed, your extremist position is shared by fewer than 20% of American citizens.

I think we should be protecting the civil rights of the most innocent. So many young are killed by loaded guns left around the house or by gang violence using guns. We need to get rid of these right away.

Barack Obama, Kay Hagan and Bev Perdue trust women to make personal reproductive health decisions without government intrusion," What Janet Colm is really saying is that she and these three Liberal Democrats support all Abortions, at all cost, and for any reason.
