I think it's possible for someone in an unincorporated area of northeast NC, near the Virginia-NC line, to have a Virginia Beach address though they do not actually live in Virginia Beach. This also happens in northwest NC where a person's address makes them seem to be in Virginia or Tennessee.

But in this case, I think this is just a typo because the only Jacquelyn Cannon Palmer I see on the SBOE is in Caldwell County. She is a Republican, and the name can't be that common.

Why in creation would a republican support Obama, he is against everything a conservative has ever stood for, his agenda is in direct conflict with having less government and more individual freedoms. Sheep are so easily led, instead of making your own party better you turn tail and run.

I searched 12 names in a row on the list (all in Wake County), 10 were registered R, one U, and one had several people registered with the same name so no way to verify that one.

McCrory&Obama bumper stickers in Raleigh

In Raleigh today, I saw a car that had an Obama sticker (ironically on the left rear bumper) and a McCrory for Governor sticker. It was interesting to see and likely a common choice across the entire state for voters. While I am a McCain/Palin supporter, based on conversations that I am involved with, there will be a lot of moderate democrats and independents voting for Obama and McCrory.

In contrast, there will likely be only 200 republicans voting for Obama, and less voting for Beverly, including the one registered in Virginia Beach, VA.

I still hope there will be a "Democrats for Pat" kickoff. I am a registered Democrat who is supporting Barak Obama for President and Pat McCrory for Governor. In my opinion, voters in NC cannot survive another four more years of business as usual in Raleigh - and electing Flip Flop Perdue would be just that.

I was intrigued by ncpolis research and did the same with the 12 Raleigh names, totally opposite result.
