I am trying not to go negative picking perdue, but do you really want to talk about perdues questionable ties. You keep calling McCrory playboy, so I think I'll give perdue a knickname "plastic"or "guardian of the graveyard of the atlantic"or "fake" or "Beasley" or "EasleyII". sorry had to get it off my chest.

There is one thing for sure picking perdue you are relentless with your negative attacks just like perdue. Do you think all the states problems come from McCrory??? I don't think that the mayor had anything to do with raleighs nasty corruption and scandels. He wasn't there, but Bev Perdue was there with her corrupt colleages. You compair McCrory to bush, why not compair perdue to easley they are like two peas in a pod and whole state knows it. P.S just expressing my opinion no offense intended

What are YOU hiding Playboy Pat (we do know you said Palin is hotter in person; now, that's one you should have kept to yourself...eeewww!!!)

The Jim Black tie is to McCrory not Perdue!! Black and McCrory are golfing buddies from way back; Black is also Pat's eye doctor, and Pat had nothing but the highest praise for his friend. I don't think anyone will accuse Perdue of a golfing/professional/friendship with Black.
Get real, people, McCrory is no more of a change than GW Bush himself would be.

Excellent choice.....a truly great endorsement from tne N&O. The winds of change will hopefully prevail with the majority of NC voters.

PerDont allies implicated in bribery scandal

(N&O online, 8/12/08) - Another example of Perdue's questionable associations that she will not share information about:

Perdue returned contributions to two campaign allies, Barry Lee Green, owner of a Raleigh strip club, and Ricky Wright, who held a fundraiser for Perdue in his home, after they were implicated in a bribery scandal involving a former state official. The NC Republican Party made a public records request of the Lt. Governor’s Office on August 12, 2008, pertaining to communication between the office, the two Perdue allies, the convicted official and the CEO of the company involved. So far, the Lt. Governor has refused to comply with the request.

What are you hiding Beverly?

Isn't it ironic? McCrory whines about Perdue's negative ads, and look at the difference in money spent...and we all know how positive the RGA ads have been about Perdue. McCrory's question in his oh-so-positive ad: "Aren't you tired of all the negative ads by my opponent?" Answer: "Pat, we know you aren't the brightest tool in the shed, but those negative ads are yours!

McCrory himself recruited new companies? Yes, that's right: just like he recently "recruited" Wells Fargo!! HA!! What a joke; does he have an ego or what? Please refer to CLT Observer article in which the City Council members state that he is a non-factor in any of CLT's successes or failures. I'm sure Harvey Gantt was just being kind in his referral to McCrory, but let's face it; that is far, far, far from the endorsement Gantt gave Perdue.

NC ELECTIONS BOARD DISMISSES CAMPAIGN COMPLAINTS

By GARY D. ROBERTSON : Associated Press Writer
The Associated Press
Oct 14, 2008

RALEIGH, N.C. -- The State Board of Elections on Tuesday dismissed all complaints filed against two national party groups seeking to influence the fall elections in North Carolina using sibling organizations.

The dismissals came after three hours of hearings by the board about the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee and the Republican Governors Association. Both political organizations have raised money which has been funneled to similar state political action committees they created...

Slightly harder? Your link only shows that the ITIN went into effect as an acceptable form of ID on Jan 1, 2002. How does that make it harder? Illegals can get ITINs so the Feds can collect taxes from their paychecks. Whoopie! Have you checked to see how often the same ITIN was used in NC? Maybe you should....

Your back must be getting pretty tired by now, carrying Lt. Gov. Perdue around all day is hard work.

You picked the one item out of four issues raised that you could plausibly take a shot at. What about the other 3? Any Bevcuses there?

Weak endorsement by Moore

An email endorsement by Moore, 71 days after the primary really shows that he is fully supportive of Perdue. Yea right. I am glad that a lot of Moore contributors have switched allegiances to Mayor McCrory. Others should do the same... How about you Richard?

Re: Perdue praising Reagan in ad

So wait... Perdue calls Reagan "manipulative" and the GOP goes after her for it, and this means they "turned on one of their on" ? Sounds to me like they're defending Reagan and going after Perdue for touting manipulation. I also wonder about the fuller context of what Perdue was saying, that is, if she was really defending Reagan or just saying that he was manipulative while being on the 'wrong side of public policy issues.'

Beverly is a master at taking city council votes and statements made by Mayor McCrory out of context in her ads, etc. (as RTB often agrees). Sounds like you are whining again as you can't stand it when someone does the same to you.

And if there is one thing that you and your status quo brothers are good at in Raleigh, it is MANIPULATING! The truth can hurt!
