Re: Hagan received $199k from unions

If Hagan wanted to bring unions to the state she chose the wrong job. Actually her old job as a state legislator would be where she could influence union laws in NC.

Hopefully she will help bring unions into the state so the workers here can start getting a fair shake. The workers in NC have been abused far too long with no one to turn to for assistance. The main problem is, they don't even know how they have been getting bent over.

Big deal. Most of the politicians on both sides did not bother to even read or question these agreements but took campaign donations from the companies lobbying for them.

Re: Correction: Soros and Majority Action

So basically you are tasked with "reporting" on the accuracy of political ads, but you have difficulty getting your own facts straight. So why should anything you write be taken seriously? How hard would it be to actually do some basic research yourself instead of just being a mouthpiece for the Dole campaign? A little tip for the future - get your facts straight before attacking the accuracy of others.

They source that 3/28/06 NY Times article right on the screen when they are talking about billions for big oil ... how could that be any clearer?

It is funny that you point out the oil company profits.
Why not attack Wal-mart or target for they make a much higher percentage of profit per gross margins.

What kind of money are the teacher and other unions spending in national and local races forcing their agendas on the American people?

Unless you own a lot of ExxonMobile stock, why are you supporting Big Oil?
So the net result is that Oil Companies ended up paying 300 million more while earning more than 100 BILLION dollars in Profits. Aaawwww, poor wittle oil companies are just getting hammered.
Dole is their mouthpiece, tool, rep., whatever, in the Senate. That's the point of the ad, no half truth about it.

And why does this site need ANOTHER post trying to make this point? Your tilt is showing.
