As a candidate for House seat 33 I can only comment on the fact that I support Pat McCrory, I have personally donated to Pat Mccrory, and I will be voting for Pat McCrory.

The Democrats do not allow debate, admendments, or open floor votes on just about everthing they do not agree with. They only passed Jessica's Law because it would have been political suicide to delay it any longer than the three years they have.

We do need "REAL CHANGE" here in North Carolina.

YIKES! A "Kathy Taft" mention. That is one hottie Baby Boomer. Dumpling would never appear in the same photo op with KT .... I disagree w/ pretty much everything Kathy believes but that gal sure is "a looker".

Speaking of photo ops .... I want one of Ditzy Dumpling clogging w/ Randy Parton in Roanoke Rapids .... I vote we refer to Bev as Dumpling as often as possible til November. It can't hurt.

Perdue v. McCrory

I would dearly love a reason to change my mind and vote for Perdue.

I have never voted Republican, and it pains me to think that the day might arrive that I should prefer even a smart, personable, obviously effective GOPer to any Democrat.

But . . . everytime I think of Beverly Perdue I recall her holding up that jar of pennies and it's just omg, icky poo, saccharine gooey, blech~ No one saw her "debate" with Richard Moore one evening long ago (I think the program competed with Jeopardy or something) but he absolutely and yet with considerable restraint whupped her dumpling butt.

So I've pretty much assumed she would refuse to debate McCrory, who needn't be as chivalrous as Moore was (and Moore wasn't *that* chivalrous), which means she'd be absolutely toasted. She's going to get her money without having to expose her vulnerabilities, so why debate?

She has no reason to do so unless there are a lot of people like me out there who really do want "change" (as Obama might say) but would dearly love to vote for her if our consciences would permit. Maybe she could show us something.

Bev is not going to speak out against King and Queen Easley. Everything she does and says is scripted. She is not allowed to go outside the script. She says McCrory is "whining" when he talks about Perude not debating more. That's typical Bev. You will never hear her talk about
Easley, Rand, Basnight and the rest of the gang. They are holding the taxpayers of NC hostage and enjoying a good life. They have a good gig going. They have state employees and teachers duped. Why agree to debates and run the risk of being exposed?

During the last 8 years NC has been void of "excellent leadership. economic growth and stability." Bev has been part of the problem. Thomas Paine you should know that. We now have 30%+ drop out rate in the schools in your home county of Pitt. Bev has been on the Board of Education along with your friends Kathy Taft and others. They certainly have not provided any leadership. It is not until Bev is running for governor that she talks about having "world class schools". Bev and her friends only make education their trumpet every election season. Where's the LEADERSHIP? She refuses to openly discuss the issues. Refuses to debate in all parts of the state. She only wants to hide behide slick expensive 30 second commercials. She is turning her backs on her employees...the voters/taxpayers of NC. Come on Tommy....quit drinking the Kool Aid!

It is a shame that Perude is continuing to “lead” in arrogance by refusing to have a simple debate with Pat McCrory in Western North Carolina. I guess the news media and the people of North Carolina have a lot of nerve to challenge her on her views. She’s only running for the top office in one of the fastest growing states in the country. North Carolina needs a leader that will reject the failed policies of the Easley-Perdue administration and end this culture of arrogance.
