Re: Wright hosted Perdue fundraiser

Kochman's excuses are lame. Bev's campaign should know exactly how much was raised at Wright's event as well as the amounts each host was responsible for raising. Bev and Kochman also know that the various levels of "hosts" are often publicized on both the invitation for the "fundraiser" as well as on signage at the event. It's status to be high on the list of amounts that you have been responsible for raising!

I am even more concerned about the ethicacy of their fundraising efforts and their campaign if they don't have good records. I dare the N&O to actually do some follow-up investigative reporting as Bev is just another corrupt Democrat in Raleigh.

Can Bev Perdue say OPPS.............

I hate harping on the entrenched corruption in this state but your making it too easy. Anyone looked into any of the other statewide and legislative candidates?

... stories like this are unfurling across NC...we hear there's several
recent discoveries, esp. in Eastern NC that have some folks squirming like worms in hot ashes...

I guess, ya poor thing, ya haven't picked up on the fact that no public officials have been implicated by the facts of this case.

Seems like the low folks on the totem poll get hammered hardest in these sorts of cases. When are the elected officials going to be held accountable?

If you spend too much time thinking of all the stupid ____ the characters in Raleigh have been up to the last few years it's enough to make one quite stupdified by their stupidity.
I will apologize in advance for underlined areas, grammatical and any spelling errors.

So where is Rick Watson these days?

Carolina Journal has a long-running series of articles on the scandal as it unfolds.

Why do these people always get amnesia? "I may have been", well which is it? Were you a part of the team or not? Mr. Tolson do you remember IBP?

I may have been part of a team that was trying to get ethanol alternative energy plants in North Carolina,” said Tolson, who is now president and chief executive of the N.C. Biotechnology Center

Most companies of that size have a legal team, consultants, etc. What about this ethanol company, did they have anyone hired to represent and consult them? Just curious after seeing this listed somewhere. General Counsel/Vice President Business Development, Agri-Ethanol Products, LLC Could be a different group.

We know what Hudson did was wrong but what about the ethanol company's role in the corruption? Hopefully they are not receiving state incentives. What is the status of this upstanding company?
