considered legitimate but not from an accredited college/university. what a joke. there are a few serious schools like the university of phoenix offering online or absentee based degrees, but many are designed to generate credentials for public employees and educators who are paid not for performance but for a piece of paper.

this one running running the state health plan. Recent news shows they will randomly test for smoking in 2010. What about the poor staff at the mental hospitals who are forced to inhale up to 720 cigs per day in a tiny confined space while supervising pts. My life insurer tested me in 07 and I was positive for smoking, even though I havent ever , ever smoked a cig.

I cannot find Walker's dissertation in the ProQuest database. The only Columbia Pacific University dissertation in the database is "The Chromatic Chord Player For The Six String Guitar" by Michael Pagliaro (1985).

I hope that he's not confusing himself with the prominent U-M political scientist Jack L. Walker, who has plenty of publications while at U-M and an award named for him.
