Wingnuts of both spectrums always think the center is hilariously out of step with the mainstream.

At least that's what Fox News and MSNBC keeps telling them.

What I find funny here is Burr's ham-handed effort to appeal to the fringe minority you represent.

If he even manages to somehow keep you happy, he's done with the mainstream electorate.

Trust me friend, as a centrist I irritate liberals more than you do.

On topic, and from a purely political standpoint, I find this latest line in the sand from Burr ill advised.

Choice/Life is a 50/50 issue in NC at best. And the stand he just took won't fit on a Republican bumper sticker or send one North Carolinian to the polls in an off election to support his nuanced position.

So in effect, all he did was raise the radar on the overwhelming majority of other Americans that now want him defeated.

Another dumb rookie mistake IMO, unless he plans on becoming a stellar fundraiser in the next few months, and re-educating North Carolina to fit his party's ideology via broadcast.

He now needs $30 million to tie. Before this campaign burp it was probably only $20 million.

The ladies on here in the anti-free speech brigade would be well served learning the history of the word, Redneck.

Once merely a derogatory term used by robber baron union busting Republicans to refer to the pro-union, mostly Democratic white and black coal miners that wore red bandannas around their neck, now it's a proud term for the working man of all colors, and graces more southern bumper stickers than "Jesus is my copilot."

I seriously wish you girls from the revisionist GOP born yesterday would at least read something, if not actually grow a pair.

Sebelius has received tens of thousands of dollars from the late term abortion this bill she vetoed was for. The abortionist will destroy a fetus right up to almost birth for a sum of $5,000. Governor Sebelius has no right to be a DHHS secretary for allowing that kind of slaughter. And she is another tax cheat that has been nominated by Obama. Either Obama is very naive , ideologically blind, or has a lousy vetting committee. Or maybe all three.
