Re: Hagan moves into new D.C. digs

I agree with lpetrou's comment.
The reply that I received from Hagan's office was completely boilerplate. For example, the greeting was "Dear Freiend" and not even my name.
No evidence that my mail was actual read.

Similar issue with Congressman Coble. I contacted his office and
the reposnse that I received summerized my comments but the summary
was completely different from what I had said.

It scares me that the House and Senate members are being fed made-up
constituents' opinions.

Good news. Maybe she will now start answering her mail and responding to her constituents. She is starting to get the same reputation that Edwards had which was he ignored his constituents. But then he was running for president the first day she got there. So I wonder what Hagan is running for.

Re: Poll: McCain surges in NC

Huckabee and McCain are also my favorite candidates out of both parties, and I'm a registered independent. I would love to see a McCain-Huckabee ticket on the ballot. McCain has the most and best experience to be a wartime commader-in-chief. Huckabee would be a more than able VP to step up to the plate if McCain ever had any health issues.

Gigilo's wife disqualifies him fast - she is NOT 1st lady material, ditto Ferd Thompson, the dud.

Ron Paul's grassroots campaign just keeps on growing like wildfire, yet the media still shuns...

Ron Paul WAS invited as a TOP TIER candidate to a Republican candidates dinner at the WHITE HOUSE, so it would seem Mr. Bush consider's Ron Paul
a viable replacement!

Regarding Hillary, or any other presidential candidate who cares?
Here in NC, with our May primary, we're chopped liver when it comes to choosing a candidate for the Blue House.
We need the General Assembly to move us to the last Saturday in March.

That may be poor wording on my part. As a Democrat, Edmisten obviously differs with Thompson's political beliefs, but he said he thinks he's a straight-shooter. Apologies if my post was unclear.

"he's a fan of Thompson's political style. "

Never mind philosophy, reasoned politician stances, or qualifications.

Like American Idol, when it comes to electing the people who would lead our nation's government, it's style that counts!
