Oh jeez, don't these people have enough lobbyist?
None are going to take credit for disasters.
None are going to bring up the idea that they should.

Maybe they'll prop up a scape-goat, I've heard that works.

Here it is come one, come all to the greatest show in NC. All you coffers line up so I can give you the taxpayers money. People, it's simple its called flood Raleigh with enough complaints that the media will look for scandal and she'll be the first gov. to resign and go to prison just like her friend Jim Black. Who is ever out there with a grudge start getting your evidence together so that this can be done by 2010 and then a real person can be put in office. N&O you have started by not endorsing her so start looking for the dirt. It has to be there in plain sight.

Would be nice to have a representative from outside the top 1% of the income bracket. Maybe a labor representative, at least?

Another opportunity to dialogue with people who are out of touch with reality. Numbers analyzed by people who make hundreds of thousands of dollars and who only know about homeless and jobless people from a TV screen. More cutting edge insanity in NC.

Re: Guillory: Seaboard South is different

It's a good thing Guillory isn't a music writer. If he heard a country band play, "My Window Faces ther South," he might just ask a followup question:

"Now which part of the South would that be--the Seaboard South or the rest of it?"

But Guillory makes an important point, interesting too from the historical perspective in that in earlier eras of American history, the "Mid-South," or sometimes the Gulf Coast South, has often led the region in economic activity and prosperity.

Re: Castellanos: Godless ad over the line

No, this ad is not over the line. It informs the public on who Hagan associates with and recieves money from. Hagan has always supported higher taxes, just look at her record in the NC legislature. Hagan also benefits from high energy costs due to her many investments in oil and gas companies. Hagan is a part of the problem.

The artilce below this is, "Obama, Perdue on Mailer." That story alludes that Bev previously sent the mailer of her and Obama to blacks. Now, some time later, she is apparently sending the same mailer to whites.

Basing a campaign mailer on race? Is that racism or just campaigning? The fact that the first mailer did not go to white voters....is that racism? Was the first mailer an effort at pandering? How many professors does it take to change a lightbulb?

Can we get a ruling from the 140 professors on this mailer? I think I know the answer to the lightbulb question.

This idea has some merit. Why don't we allow these 140 self appointed censors to approve any campaign literature of the McCain/Palin ticket. It's sounds like they would be fair and impartial and would give the thugs, racists and inbred rednecks who oppose Obamanation a fair chance.

But then again I don't know how much of this to believe.....140 professors agreeing on anything?

Better leave this up to Andy and Opie.

This "racial code" malarkey has got to stop; these professors are behaving as abominably as they wish for the McCain/Palin campaign to appear, by virtue of their making accusations of racism according to "code" known only to them.

Is this a joke?? What we need are professors who aren't incompetent idiots who have never succeeded in anything outside of a classroom. These professors have failed in the real world, so they take their bitterness and anger to our classrooms, pushing their liberal agendas. Stop demonizing the Republican Party!!
