Wasn't John the father of their child that died? Why does she get a pass but he doesn't? I'm not defending him (he's too slick), but the death of a child impacts BOTH parents.

But the problem, Quinn writes, is "she let him do it."

Quinn has an interesting definition of "a pass for life." I don't know about you guys, but when I give someone a "pass for life," that normally precludes me from blaming them for their spouse's infidelity.

Of course, it's also a nice little window into the nice little mind of RTB. Here we have two catty women (well, one anyways) prying and speculating into the private life of the wife of a former politician. RTB finds this newsworthy. Interesting.

Silda Wall Spitzer should be ashamed of standing with him AND begging him NOT to resign.

Somehow its always OK, just fine, when a democrat strays from values, right? there's that double standard again...strive to be smarter.

I feel sad for Spitzer's family too, but that doesn't mean I'd want to hang on to contributions from a guy who was signing tougher anti-prostitution legislation while visiting prostitutes or fighting fraud while structuring his payments to "escort" services.

He should return ALL of the contributions received at the NY fundraiser hosted by Spitzer and not just the $4,600.

Did he really say "I feel for she and her three children?" He ought to have said, "I feel for her and her three children."

"Him" should know better.

The Moore people did not waste any time this morning (Tuesday, May 11) cleaning out his campaign website, removing references to Spitzer and at least one video from their Youtube site. The video showed Moore addressing the N.C. Bar Association last summer and leading off with complimentary remarks about Spitzer, who was the chief speaker. The deleted remarks tended to bring out comparisons with Spitzer, whom Moore has associated himself with and whom he has tried to emulate.

Moore is sole trustee of the state pension fund, as as such ought to feel obliged to fulfil the duties of a fiduciary, putting the interests of state employees ahead of his own. Instead, he has used the fund as a means to raise campaign contributions, as is well documented in the national press (Forbes Magazine, Business Week, and elsewhere).
