Ahem. Show me the NC Al Gore and NC auto plants before I remotely see the built-in pluses for Hillary.

In fact, I see no reason why the outcome in NC won't mirror SC. And don't forget that the Charlotte, Wilmington etc. media markets already got a dose of Obama v. HRC. No magic there.

Sorry, wishing for some big-spending, spot-lit NC cage-match won't make it so.

Thank you for taking note of our report on faculty compensation in the UNC system. Please note, however, that the report was issued by the John William Pope Center for Higher Education Policy (www.popecenter.org), not by the John Locke Foundation. It is correct that the author of the paper, Jon Sanders, is a research analyst with the Locke Foundation, but he wrote the paper for the Pope Center. The full report is available at www.popecenter.org.

If I write a "report," will you publish it, too?

I have one in the works called the LPRI (Lies Per "Report" Index) which studies the outputs of the multi-million dollar opinion manufacturing organization you all are so fond of covering.

Sanders said . . . "the study alone would not answer the question."

Exactly what question will this "report" answer?

If the Dome thought this was important news, why not just go to the source (state government) and do the analysis yourself? Why does the entire N&O organization allow itself to be used as a soapbox for Art Pope's paid extremists?

I really don't get it.
