McCrory/Obama 2008. Perdue is a bunch of talking points without any substance on any of the issues. She flip-flops with the polls and is a part of the deep rooted corruption in Raleigh.

Time for a change at both the Federal and State level.

McCrory is actively campaigning for McCain. Pat McCrory the only candidate for governor in the entire nation- George Bush is actively campaigning for and personally directing his operatives from Washington DC. If you think that adds up to a plus for North Carolina with Obama... someone is off their meds. To be North Carolina's top executive, talk is cheap. Action speaks louder than words. Perdue was a healthcare small business owner- came from nowhere and worked her way up. Perdue brings a record of getting things done and elbowing her up way through a glass ceiling to leading the state senate leadership in a man's world. If you know anything about the legislative process, that is in incredible feat. Perdue simply gets the job done and has performed effectively- served as our chief architect to keep our military jobs through BRAC process. When other states suffered base closings she led the effort which resulted in a significant net military job gain for North Carolina in the thousands.
Pat McCory has zero real-world experience and zero legislative experience, a career employee for a big energy company Duke Power whom he received a paycheck until 2 years ago. McCrorys roll with Charlotte: a ceremonial Mayor, opening City Council meetings, vote rarely to break a tie, cut ribbons at openings while the City Manager runs the city. News for'em "there ain't no city manager to do your job, as Governor." Its a big-boy hostile roll, navigating & arm twisting through the powerful elements of the state legislature. There is only one candidate with the proven ability to get it done. There is only one candidate endorsed by Obama. That is Bev Perdue. I say- "no thanks" to George Bush's chosen project McCrory and his 'swiftboat money' attempt to buy North Carolina.

My hunch is that there are going to be significant cross-over democrats as well as independents that vote for Obama and McCrory as they are the only ones for change versus the status quo. Even the self-admitted democratically leaning Charlotte Observer stated in their endorsement of McCrory: "Perdue for years has been part of a Senate leadership that secretly slipped items into the budget at the last minute and stifled debate" If that isn't status quo in Raleigh, I don't know what is.

And while we know where Obama and McCrory stand, the Observer also said the following about Perdue:
"But we detect no core compass within her. She speaks in platitudes, not specifics. She often appears governed by polls, changing her stance, for instance, on oil drilling and refusing to lead on the issue of illegal immigration. On immigration, Perdue seems not to understand either the law or the reality, and doesn't explain a rational basis for her position, giving the impression it's simple political convenience."

Bottom line: By their unwillingness to appear together during Obama's numerous trips to NC, I am not convinced that Obama wants or desires Perdue to be Governor of North Carolina. Either that or Perdue is still doing her best to maintain her distance from Obama. Regardless, they don't appear to be building a political relationship that would benefit North Carolina if by chance, Obama or Perdue were elected to their respective offices.

There is only *ONE CANDIDATE* for Governor *IN THIS ENTIRE NATION* whom GEORGE W. BUSH and KARL ROVE operatives are "PERSONALLY CAMPAIGNING FOR."
That is PAT McCRORY.

That is afact. CHECK IT OUT. That.. is a scary fact. A very- scary fact for North Carolina....
If you support Obama - you cut his throat in North Carolina, counter-manning his every move with a BUSH diciple in charge of North Carolina. Simple as that. If you like George Bush's policy- you like what he has done to this nation, like the idea of making North Carolina Bush's forwarding address from Washington DC... Congratulations.

It takes a cohesive team working in concert to get serious about our future and get this nation back on track. That team begins with Obama & a team of leadership around the country.

With whom is Mrs. Perdue talking about the economy? When I have wanted to hear her - for example at a debate on public television - she couldn't be bothered to show up and talk. The only thing I have 'heard' from the Perdue campaign is an invitation to attend an overpriced fundraiser.

Ms. Perdue's hollow television ads are not impressing this democrat. I do not think she will win this election based on her feeble attempts to evade voters by simply giving talking points in paid television ads.

I, for one, am proudly supporting Obama and McCrory this November!

The Republicans voted 100% in 2005 to regulate Fanny Mae and Freddy MAc, but Democrats voted 100% not to. So you can blame Democrats for Fannie Mae and Freddy MAc failing.

The margin of error makes it virtually a tie, yet you report it as a win for Perdue in the headline and in the first paragraph. Also- Since when is a 1200-person survey even slightly relevant to a statewide vote?
