Yes, that's true. If you read the reports of that incident the man went to a local hospital for treatment. Accordinfg to the hospital, he received treatment without being in debt to the hospital for thousands of dollars because...he had wonderful government health insurance: Medicare.

He also punched a man in the face which led to a scuffle. But it is unfortunate what happened and the person and they should both be charged with assault.

The question Charlotteans have been asking for years....

Lessee - straight ticket voting on the Obama coat-tails got us new State Corruptocrat.. I mean Auditor Wood and Happy Perdue.

Anyone out there wish they could change their vote now? The budget would certainly look different and we might actually get some real investigations out of the auditors office.

As we've seen from the angry right wing mobs this summer, most of the people at this event will be retirees or near retirement age. So really the rally should be "Keep your government hands off my government health care".

Medicare...let's make it available to everyone.

Let's also call this what it really is...a rally for people who are upset that they lost the election last November.

Hey Ken I saw Burr on UNC-TV last night defending his plan against FOUR Democrat Congressman. After watching Burr I would say that you are very lucky Cunningham and Marshall didn’t agree to debate. We all know you used your challenge as a fundraising gimmick. Oh and by the way a quick Google news search of Burr shows that he has been all over this state talking about his healthcare plan.

That's not his position - he has articulated alternative reforms, he is just not for PelosiCare, a position similar to a majority of Americans.

We already voted on "Burr's" alternative reforms when first introduced by McCain/Palin.

Why is it that Burr persists in trying shove his party's failed and rejected policies down our throats?
