The man voted for TARP and all the financial services industry could come up with was a mere $20 grand? Do they not know how many billions of taxpayer money Burr has given them? The man had to come up with a lie about sending Brooke to ATM's in the middle of the night to explain his vote. Come on financial services industry. You owe Dick Burr more than $20 grand.

Paul Shumaker should totally commission a poll of bankers and ask them about that, then give Burr the results, then say it was independent and not file it with the FEC, because after all, Paul Shumaker has nothing to do with the Burr campaign, except when he does.

I too was glad to see James make an appearance. I snuck in during the cover of darkness the other night and read where James had once again cancelled his N & O subscription. I feel he is contributing to their financial difficulties. Unsubscribing and then subscribing again....reportedly they have 8 people full time trying to figure out if James is coming or going. His newspaper delivery guy is so confused he has sought counseling. It's really a shame.

Maybe James will find inner peace with the N & O and the Dome and share his thoughts with us. James is such an inspiration to us all.

My guess is a bunch of G's, L's, B's and T's. But if you're that curious about being informed, I'd suggest attending next time. You'll fit right in with the B's.

However none of us regular poor folk fit in with Richard Burr's regular crowd against affordable health care, anywhere or at any time.

Honestly, I don't think Burr is influenced by these contributions. The donors already know he's representing their interests ... they're just paying back the favors.

At least Burr is spurring the NC economy with his fundraiser - instead of traveling a long ways both philosophically and geographically like Senator Hagan's maiden voyage to Boston for the Godless American PAC.

Did anyone else with half a brain grasp the fact that in order downplay this fundraiser Hagan defended her Christianity - merely disregarding Atheism and its followers - yet the Atheists raised the most stink only to be throw to out...by their dear Senator Hagan.

also what do you mean by five diamond Greenbrier Resort, last I heard they lost their five star rating. Still a great place though, the hot chocolate they serve in the winter months is fabulous.
