Disappointing, but not surprising, that Hagan's tied herself up to Evan Bayh's latest attempt to make himself relevant.

Wow,

Lets see how much she can steal before she parks in DC. Revolution is coming and those in Congress better be aware that you cannot get all of us. Why doesn't Obama make her Secretary of Transportation so she can pave a driveway 100 miles from her home to the RDU Airport. All I can say is this government will not last.

Liddy voted for a bill she knew wouldn't pass. I'm mostly glad it didn't pass. I would have given the illusion of progress with no teeth whatsoever.

How will the initial permits be distributed under this bill? Will they be auctioned off (good) or given away (bad)? Enquiring minds want to know...

Correction

There is evidence that she was supporting "free market solutions" to the climate challenge last fall. I suppose that's something.

Dole is up for re-election. Burr isn't. 'Splains a lot.

J

PS Ryan, just because Dole "says" she decided that climate change was real a year ago, doesn't mean it's true. I can find nothing in the record indicated that change of heart happened any sooner than the May primary here in North Carolina. It would have been more accurate to write, "U.S. Sen., Elizabeth Dole says she decided a year ago ... "

Re: Club for Growth targets Dole

When talking about cap and trade, it is important to know whether permits will be given to polluters, or if they will be auctioned to polluters. Both are cap and trade proposals, but both have some significantly different policy implications. That information would be useful for readers to know.

Thanks
