I think the Bible contains the following:

"The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them."

.......or it may be in James' book.

how about "Easley's son works with Vinroot", rather than "Vinroot works with Easley's son." The way you have it reminds me of the tongue in cheek headline in the Fayetteville paper a few years back that said "Judge's father re-elected to State Senate", referring to Ripley and Tony Rand.

Somewhat misleading headline. "Working with" and "Partnering" imply a much closer involvememt than a summer intern has with a senior partner in a firm with over 100 attorneys.

"Pass each other in the break room" is more appropriate.

It will be interesting to see if this thread spawns the same sort of thoughtful discourse regarding the future of the NCGOP that similar threads on Gary Pearce and Carter Wrenn's blog have generated.

It is really good to see that most Republican's are examining in such a thoughtful, careful and reasoned manner how best to make the party competitive in North Carolina.

Obama is getting hammered for a ad only made in Spanish that is being directed only to Hispanic voters saying McCain and Limbaugh are buddies and racists toward Hispanics. Too bad for you guys on the left that the Limbaugh quotes were made in parody YEARS ago and way out of context. The use of this race baiting and bigoted ad are being compared to racists ads that were used in the 50's and 60's.

Obama and his campaign surrogates keep accusing people who are not voting for him as racists. Too bad for you guys on the left that the present President Bush has appointed 2 African-American's as Secretary of States and have a very diversified administration. Including the appointment of a African-American to the Supreme Court. What did Clinton or Carter do in this arena that is comparable?

I am running against a African-American who I blame for the failings of our state government concerning Mental healthcare, Roads, Corruption, Schools, Crime and probation systems, Out of control Spending, and some of the highest taxes in the south and country.

I can say that I am not voting for Barack Obama for US President.

If Dan Blue or anyone wants to debate my views or the issues of need in NC? Call me and we can set something up. It is time to say it like it is. Hagan, Perdue, and Obama are just plain wrong for North Carolina.

It is a recurring theme of Ryan's that Bev Perdue is distancing herself from Barack Obama. Why? Because Perdue was at a rally of Obama's and spoke at the rally (I believe), but his plane broke down and he didn't make it. Then, she had the audacity to miss an Obama event in Raleigh. Sure, it was happening at the same time as a televised debate between her and McCrory, but that is no excuse.

Now, at the very next event he has in North Carolina she goes to the event and what does Ryan say? She is 'moving closer' to him, again implying that she has been ducking him. Even though all the proof suggests otherwise.

The reason the "Boy Mayor" got all this money from the Boys in Charlotte is because they know him so well, they believe the sooner he gets out of Charlotte, the better!!
