FFC, I don't think your reaction to things is necessarily a sound gauge.
Just saying.

Hmmmm.

Ya know, I wouldn't be too sure of Dems prevailing at the state level this time around. I don't particularly want to see a GOP administration, but I can't say I'm proud of what we've seen lately from the General Assembly or the governor's mansion. People might be a little fed up.

Democrats Pray for Fred

Democrats would relish the idea of facing Fred in November. I'd say if thats the case, Perdue wins with 60% + of the vote

Straw Polls don't matter. The real primary in May.
I'd hope Smith would win them, since he spent thousands of dollars on barbecue. That money wasn't only going for the pig.

Amazing. You'd think Smith wouldn't do as well in Western NC, but it just shows how the folks in Western NC are onto RINO McCrory.

Smith leads in a new poll posted on Katy's Conservative Corner. Cut and past this url into your browser:

Actually, neither Smith nor McCrory attended the dinner - so his win says something about his strength among GOP activists.

Really? - Did you REALLY just say that??? Republicans being the "Crime Family" in NC?!? Really...?

How dare you discredit the hard work Jim Black has been doing for all these years! He's worked extremely hard to build the most crooked and corrupt General Assembly this state has ever seen!

...and THIS is the thanks you give your fellow democrat?

This would be the best time and place for law enforcement officials to round up the known members of the most illegal Crime Family in the state of North Carolina, the Republican Party!
