What a flurry of stuff from the AG.
Seems there's a "pin the tail on the demon" daily - don't it?
Should we bate breath for the tomorrow's "demon dejure"?

Wonder if this is to deflect his self-approval backfire (he thinks he's done great things regulating the finance industry) onto something else... anything else...

So, once a criminal, always a criminal? Then where's the effort to keep track of murderes and other violent criminals that continue to break the law and make a mockery of the probation system?

Did Cooper disagree with the findings or the process? The task force said there's not a big problem. What problem then is he trying to address?

This feels weirdly like he's looking for a problem to go along with some solutions he already has in mind.

I just look at Virginia Foxx's photo and know she really Twitters and Aaron Groen isn't just faking it. What can I say? Even the typo's say it's real.

"Positive day but fell flu coming on," reads a typical entry.

You know if Aaron Groen was just faking it for Virgina he'd at least spell check.

Good on you crazy lady! I look forward to saying Hello in 2010 when you greet me at WalMart.

I think that's nice, and it should keep her from overtaxing her brain. Although...140 characters might still be a challenge, so she should probably set her sights on 40-50.

I am a Brit away from home living and working in North Carolina. I have been in the US for seven years. Great to hear that Sky News covered your watch party .... check out the 5th to 6th minute of this CNN video. It features pictures taken in Richmond VA, along with multiple North Carolinian Obama faithful that had travelled up to VA with the Triangle Group. We were there to canvas the weekend before the VA Primary. I was also in South Carolina for the Primary there. The NC Primary is 41 days away (check out the counter).

Go Obama.

The UK - Barack Obama for President 2008 Meetup, in the United Kingdom, has more than 250 members. The similar Clinton group has 1/5 the number of members. To join us, or check us out, please go to
http://barackobama.meetup.com/153/

We starred in a music video!

Sky News filmed our March 4 Election Watch Meetup at Planet Hollywood. We're holding phone banks, postcard-writing events, rallies, and fundraisers; we're even on Facebook
http://www.facebook.com/p.php?i=685148876&k=Z4F3YYSRRVVMYF1BVJ3XQ

The UK's largest Obama group, the UK Obama Meetup has had exponential growth. The N. Carolina Obama Meetup, Triangle For Obama, is our inspiration and model! An organizer from that group, Geoff Williams, came to England to talk to our UK members about campaign work in S. Carolina, holding members spellbound.

Americans out of the U.S. are a huge voting block that could affect the course of the election. Please check out this website, for Americans and non-Americans, with an election countdown, superdelegate count, Red Hot! news and hot links to blogs, and - ~~Music~~.

I am an organizer with the Triangle for Obama Meetup. We had 525 members in our group before Hillary supporters had even started their Meetup. We took over 50 people twice to SC for canvassing for Obama and have been very active here since March 2007 as noted. We aim to work alot harder in the next 6 weeks until the win in NC. By the way, capt, if California or New York go Republican if Obama is the nominee, look me up, I am buying you some beer. Florida and Michigan were sham elections that didn't tell us anything. I do agree they should be given another shot or they will go Repub out of spite.

As with most states, you'll have to look outside the the big cities to get a true picture of where this primary will go. Don't get me wrong, Sen. Obama still has the advantage so far, but here in Fayetteville, I've been to both the local Obama and Hillary meetings, and the Hillary meetings seem more active and bigger (though the Obama campaign has already begun officially moving into downtown Fayetteville!). I think it's too close to call at this point.

As for NC being a "must-win" for Hillary, I disagree. I think it's a "must-win" for Obama much more. If she wins, it'll be an upset! If he can't use NC as a firewall to her Penn. victory, he will have lost the narrative that he can win anywhere. And California, Texas, New York, Ohio (am I allowed to say Fla. and Mich.?) and THEN Pennsylvania...you tell me how to win w/o those states...

I am so glad you posted this story. I think it is great that a legislator uses all media possible to make a difference and an impact. This shows her creativity and resourcefulness---a good and sometimes not typical tool for a politician. She is truly a rising star. I don't live in her district but I am glad she works for all of NC.

She could be the longest serving politician ever...wow...that's great!

My Representative, NC House Rep. Cotham, continues to surprise the "Lords of Conventional Wisdom" by being the very best member of the General Assembly she can be! She continues to reach out to her constituency in whatever means available and is not limited by Corporate Media. In the short time she has been in office, she has become one of the hardest workers for the people of North Carolina and her District that serves in public office. She bring a fresh perspective to the law making process and understands the needs of the average person in today's world. I wish all our representatives, State and Federal, could see and understand the issues as well as NC House Rep. Cotham already does!
