Do gays even know it's Christmas time at all?

"I didn't get into politics because I thought government had a better answer. I got into politics because I knew government didn't have the real answers, that the real answers lie in accepting Jesus Christ into our lives...I hope we answer the alarm clock and take this nation back for Christ."

Especially a devout guitarist should have learned the lessons from Footloose.

Re: Hagan already voted for option

It does appear as though Sen. Hagan has not a clue how she will vote from day to day. I guess it depends on who she's talking to on a particular day. She would do herself a favor to record her comments and then play them back to herself so she can remember which direction she's going. If she made it through grade school mathematics, she should understand that there has never been anything the government started/sponsored that did not cost the public. Of course the defict will rise. Tax, tax, tax, ugh!

I wouldn't be suprised if she said "one time"

but she probably meant "one dime." I guess when you're bailing out banks, deficits don't matter, but when you're helping regular people, well, it seems to be all that matters.

If it's true that we elect the leaders we deserve, we sure don't seem to deserve much these days.

I think Etheridge is clearly a marketable candidate for the Democrats, given he has been elected statewide in the past, as State Superintendant of Public Instruction. He definetly has the potential to pull a Hagan, and plus Etheridge's campaign coffers are probably deeper than Hagan's were at this time in '07

Career politicians breed corruption and lies. Vote them out or they and their cronies die in office.

Option one....you win
Option two....you lose

The multi-million dollar dance of the elephants and donkeys begins. Meanwhile, the (libertarian) penguin will wait in the wings for the dust to settle so we can get down to the real business at hand.

Yes, there will be a Libertarian candidate, so voters will not have to choose between Twittledumb and Twittledumbder. They'll actually have the opportunity to vote for someone who will represent North Carolina, not the RNC, DNC or special interests & lobbyists.

Dr. Mike Beitler (www.MikeBeitler.com) is seeking the Libertarian nomination. Other libertarians may surface. The people will have a real choice.

KAY HAGAN: PROTECTING HER OWN $180,000 INVESTMENT IN PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE COMPANIES:

That's all you need to know. She has a vested interest in protecting THAT money and her interests in these companies. You can expect assignment to a variety of these company boards ONCE WE VOTE HER OUT. Please leave us alone, Ms. Hagan. Please go away. Pro-tobacco vote too? We understand what you are now. You're voting just like Liddy Dole. We expected better.

The problem is that what the government will offer will not be even close to what we have available now, it will cost the taxpayers way more for it then they are paying now, it will not be FREE. There is no such thing as a free healthcare, it has to be paid for, the estimates I have read is public plan will cost each person 3500-4500 per year, now get online and look for a private plan, I promise you can find insurance for that much money and if you have a family for way less than the per person rate of a government plan. Ask some Canadians about their health care system and how long they have to wait and how care is rationed by whether there is a benefit for the government for paying for something, granny needs a new hip but granny isnt giving the government any money she is old and wont live long anyway so it wouldnt really be cost effective to do a hip replacement on her. Oh you have cancer, well that kind doesnt have a great sucess rate and your kinda getting up there in age so the cost / benefit isnt really there so no chemo for you. OH and we know that drug would help you but its not on our approved treatment list so sorry you cant have that.

Kay Hagen if you vote no on this stuff I will VOTE for YOU. I cant afford government healthcare
