Yes, there is a video.

I suspect that in addition to other regrets, Edwards regrets weighing in on this one.

Re: Jones: Never voted to impeach Cheney

No doubt Cheney is tough, but America has always been the heart and sole of the world. We are the only country that would take the global initiative on Islamic fascism and terrorism. Luckily we had some friends around the world that understand how serious this problem is. We waited too long on Hitler and millions died. Not this time!

If you and Mr. Jones support quitting in Iraq, then what is your plan to fight Islamic Extremism?

Considering that mess down there on the border Bush deserves to be impeached and held accountable for all the poor souls, including all too many in NC, that he's let get killed by Third World Invaders who have no business being here while he and McCain crow about giving amnesty to these criminals.

Walter Jones supports impeachment too

Ryan, As was noted already, your post was incorrect as you failed to note that Jones has a Republican primary opponent - Joe McLaughlin.

Also, it would have been interesting for you to point out that Walter Jones has dropped the "I" word before. That's right: Walter Jones has said he supported impeachment of George W. I googled for the reference and what did I find but a post written by YOU on November 7... Just to jog your memory....

"Jones told him he would not introduce an impeachment resolution, but he would support one if it was introduced. "

Can't wait until Election Day when all you "insiders" can give us voters all your wisdom on why McLaughlin won. Ryan, I would suggest you follow the advice of your college professors and get out and talk to some Republicans in eastern North Carolina and find out about their true feelings when it comes to the Jones/McLaughlin race. Have you forgotten "The Great Shoe-Leather Tour"?

Hope the part about facing Walter Jones is prophecy to show that Joe McLoughlin deserves little thought on May 6 because he truly doesn't. Adames is a left wing kook just as much as McLoughlin is a Bushbot who can't think of any talking points Karl Rove isn't pushing.

David Frum is a Joke and a Neo-Conservative Extremist

David Frum is a joke as a conservative. This former Canadian is a neo-conservative extremist who cares little about social issues and has even stated that social conservatives need to abandon their core principles when he wrote in the New York Times on January 25 that :

"Social traditionalists too need to adapt to new realities. Opposition to same-sex marriage is dwindling. The pro-life cause, though gaining strength, remains a minority point of view. If social conservatives can avoid seeming judgmental or punitive, their core message will become more relevant than ever to an America where marriage is equaling college as a tollgate to the middle class."

This cold shoulder approach to the values millions of Americans and North Carolinians approach is a poor disguise for his foreign policy extremism that led us to war in Iraq and has advocated attacks on Iran, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Libya, and the overthrow of Hosni Mubarak in Egypt. This is not what conservatives or Republicans should be about. Pipe dreams and Wilsonian crusades to make the world safe for democracy was the calling card of the Democrats. For decades to come Republicans are going to have to overcome the stain of the President's foreign policy blunder in Iraq that has left nearly 4,000 Americans dead and left us with hundreds of billions of dollars in debt to Communist China.

I hope the voters of the 3rd don't confuse supporting the troops with supporting bad policy. Saddam is gone, a new government is in place, and it is now time for our troops to begin to come home in a responsible manner and not just using Iraq as a launching pad for future attacks on Iran and Syria. Walter Jones came to the realization that many Republicans have came to through careful thought. The war may have left thousands of dead Al Qaeda members but has damaged the reputation of the United States and has made us more vulnerable to future attacks due to our unsecured borders which are open to millions of illegal aliens and any aspiring suicide bomber who chooses to dash across.
