Burgess was also a state employee. He rambeled on and on and ruined that event. I felt sorry for the organizers.

Not all mountain biking is in state parks, silly. There are many legal trails where mountain bikers share land with hunters. I've ridden past drunken bear hunters in the NC mountains. Also have ridden past those who WERE hunting in state parks in the NC mountains.

Katy said she didn't want to get shot. My question is how much hunting is allowed in state owned parks?

I would like to thank the NRA for letting me know who NOT to vote for. Pittenger and Tyson can count me out.

No school for you

How can Easley be pandering for votes if the alleged pandering is to people who can't vote?

Benningfield reveals her cultural bias with this throwaway comment:

even if they are Hispanic

"Illegal" is a contemporary euphemism for any brown person speaking any foreign language or who looks "Hispanic" regardless of whether they are citizens or non-citizens, legal or otherwise.

Which "law breaking" determines eligibility for community college education? Will speeding tickets preclude otherwise eligible applicants? Felonies? Misdemeanors? Theft? Running the border? Running a stop light? Registered sex offenders? Auto accidents? Auto inspection? Accidents of birth? Parking tickets?

Which other services should we withhold from "undocumented" people? Water? Sewer? Electricity? Police? Fire Dept? Toilet paper at rest stops? Property title? Rental housing? Milk? Formula?

Conservatives will go all the way to the Supreme Court for an embryo in an "illegal" womb but the baby that makes it out will find little comfort.

We all wish that people who don't like foreigners would learn how to spell in English as well as some of those foreigners do.
e.g.: "know one", maybe you meant no one?

Hah, Anglico *wishes* know one read Katy's blog, http://katysconservativecorner.typepad.com/. The blog is popular with NC conservative Republicans, including this reader, and blog's many guest commentators.

Your "No one stands with Easley" headline might well have been replaced with "No one besides Ryan reads my blog."

Reading pretty low into the blog barrel, Mr. B.
