Here's a funny story, though.

A long, long time ago, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina owned the URL (www.bluenc.com), but they let it expire. Check out the way-back machine. I'm guessing they're not too wild about how things turned out.

We're slowly emerging from adolescence angst, though there are still some things that drive a person to swear.

I think it's safe to say we're no longer R-rated. More like PG-13.

Is the lewd vitriol that constituted the site in its infancy still online? I think that any newsworthy account of BlueNC must take into account the R-rated nature of its publications until circa 2007.

Why doesn't the Dome sponsor live-blog debates?

I suppose that in NC it isn’t necessary for Democrat would-be executives to feign their multi-party appeal, thus an association with BlueNC presents zero electoral problems. When taking the site’s history into account, I believe that is a sad indicator of the quality of political dialogue in the state.

Check that -- Moore said he NEVER HEARD OF bagels or egg rolls, not that Oxford did have a deli or a Chinese restaurant.

That -- frankly -- does not pass the smell test. He grew up in the 60s and 70s, not the 20s and 30s.

Why say such a thing?

Oh, and if he is so worried about raising his children in America in 2007, why not spend more time with them and stop running for office?

Yep in the small town South in the 50's and 60's there were no bagel shops or chinese restaurants or if there were we were too poor to go to eat there.....so I know where Moore is coming from....I remember when yogurt first came around and the novelty it brought....

If the Republicans still controlled Congress, that OLF would be as good as built, with the full support of Liddy Dole, Dick Burr and the rest of the Bushbots in the NC delegation.

A lot of northeast farmers have been leaning Republican for quite awhile now. It's like the scales are falling off their eyes, though, as they see what happens when a Democratic majority goes to work for We the People.

Do you have a handy-dandy way of seeing who voted for and against specific bills? It's probably right in front of my nose, but I'm not finding it.

What on earth would possess 8 people to vote against something like this?
