No Joe for Guv.....

The idea of Joe for Governor may sound good at first glance but it would be a disaster. Our state government leaders say they want sunshine to shine throughout government but that is just window dressing. Our state government has a long history of keeping away from the sunlight. Most mold will not grow in sunlight. The inner workings of our state government need to be conducted in the dark. Sure we can talk about sunshine but sunshine can be dangerous. Look at all the sunscreens on the market. What you do in the dark will come to the light also sounds good but it is not good for our state government. Let's face it - we know that some of the things that go on in the dark may not seem to be good for us but they are. Our leaders who work in the dark have specially adapted eyes and they know what is good for us better than we know. They will allow us to have only the sunlight that is good for us. Otherwise we will bask in the sunlight and get terrible skins disorders. Our leaders work in the dark so that we can have life. Too much sunshine would kill us.......and the knowledge that would come with the sunshine would drive us crazy. It's best to accept what they want us to know. Life is easier that way.

Joe Sinsheimer for GOVERNOR!!! This guy would have my vote. And the proposed Titan cement plant, the toxics it will spew are unbelievable. Why is this allowed? When you have over 200 doctors in the area coming out against this plant, why would it even be allowed? $$$$$$$$ How much have the Titan folks contributed to NC campaigns?

Was he driving while impaired, over .08 bac? roaring along at 102 mph is pretty scary. Maybe instead of single lawyer, he should hire a consultant to help him.

Trooper White guilty of Sexual Harassment?

Why can't this be considered a unique, but possible case of sexual harassment in the workplace on the part of White as perhaps he leveraged his authority over Trooper Perdue to demand sex with Perdue's wife. It could have been difficult for Trooper Perdue to turn down White's request, if in fact, Perdue wanted a future in the SHP.

the only other place that i have ever hearded of anything like conduct unbecoming anyone is in the united states miltary this is just another trumped up issue that shouldn't even never be allowed to be used in a state employees hearing especially when it is dealing with an employees future employment. so the man made a mistake they act as if he had committed a muder or something sure he was wrong but i personnaly do not feel that it rises to the level of termination after 19 years of good an faithful service to the taxpayers of this state As to the isue of conduct unbecoming this is just state mangers code speak for anything that they decied it is regardsless the circumstances surrounding any issue where that mangament has already predetermined that they are going to take action against an employee an they are determined to run his a-- off of his job just because they have been given the power & authority to do As i have found out from my own personal experiences they mangament in a lot of cases tend to abuse an mis use their new found powers an lord help you if you should just happen to piss on of the members of mangament for any reason for they surely tend to hold a grudge against you for the rest of your life an they never let anyone live down a honest mistake should you happen to make a mistake. in my personnal opinion they are all just a bunch of bitches with vendentas to grind. glad to be gone thank you

This guy needs to move on with his life. He has made serious errors in judgement, and can no longer be a police officer!!!!!!!!! Before these people are given guns and put on the street they need to go through serious psychological screening!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are under a lot of pressure!

NCHP has lost much respect across the state. They can HIDE behind state personnel 'rules' when they are investigated for criminal activity. They can assault you for speaking the truth to the governess and there is nothing you can do about it, or they will threaten FELONY charges against you if you try to file criminal charges...corruption is rampant at NCHP.
NC has become a very big POLICE STATE.

Perhaps the Highway Patrol will now suddenly find those missing records. It is all good and well to try and stonewall the N&O, but you don't mess with the FBI. And, Capt. Melvin, unless you want to be the fall guy that they have set you up to be, you need to come clean.

Perdue-release travel records as Lt Gov!

The Governor has ordered Easley's travel records to be released but to my knowledge has been unwilling to release her own records has Lt. Governor. She was asked many times to release them during and since the campaign but never obliged. What are you hiding Beverly? Come on, show your leadership and release them.
