That's really stretching things a bit RTB. The Metropolitan Coalition is just an office in the League of Municipalities. They are a non-partisan group focused on issues of mass-transit with a staff of 2. They don't engage in partisan politics and, ehem... Kevin Foy isn't exactly a mouthpiece of the far right-wing.
Even if Ms. White wanted to use the group to wage war on our Lt. Governor, her resources at the Met. Council would be so limited that it would be like throwing stones at a tank.
I don't know Ms. White, but I've worked with folks who knew her from the Treasurer's office and they say that she is professional and whip-smart. I doubt she or the League of Municipalities would do anything nefarious.

The small person taking the rap for the big person - happens all the time, especially in campaigns. I am sure others in that office knew what was going on, but she took the fall - a part-time employee.
