Easley has not been outgoing enough as governor, and I don't think he has the ability to relate to people that a US senator should have.

Do you really believe this statement 'the vast majority of the state's voters are still native conservatives' could be even hypothetically true?

PPP did a study over the summer about changing demographics in the electorate. We found about 55% of people voting in the state are natives. Let's go on the very high end and say two/thirds of those people are conservatives. That would put the electorate at about 37% native conservatives (I'd say 25-30% is a more realistic figure.) That is not a 'vast majority.'

No, this ad is not over the line. It informs the public on who Hagan associates with and recieves money from. Hagan has always supported higher taxes, just look at her record in the NC legislature. Hagan also benefits from high energy costs due to her many investments in oil and gas companies. Hagan is a part of the problem.

While McCrory would be fighting for Duke Energy and big banks. You know the "power elite", the "culture of arrogance", the "I'm Pat McCrory the difference is leadership". It is truly refreshing to see someone be so honest and admit corruption and power elite about himself, and he even touts Perdue's leadership. He further admitted on his infamous FoxLive interview on October 13th (you remember, "Sarah Palin is hotter in person") that he wouldn't even vote for himself. I agree! What a guy!!

Yeah these two are going to fight for us alright. Obama is going to be fighting to raise our taxes to pay for massive government spending, while Ole'Bev will be fighting to keep the corrupt status quo in Raleigh.

Oh dear, you have this one all wrong! McCrory said this long before Baldwin did, and worse yet, Baldwin did it as a parody on slimy, gross old men. If you watched SNL, you saw Palin roll her eyes in disgust. If you heard McCrory on FoxLive, you would know Playboy Pat said it first, was serious, and could only then be a caricature of himself and all slimy, gross men! Maybe Baldwin heard Pat say it and thought it was ridiculous enough to use as fodder on SNL!! This is a REAL issue - McCrory is irreverent and irresponsible.
