It is time that the North Carolina State took care of its own people. Starting with Mental Health Care services being restore. Rutherford County,NC has been hit hard. We need Heath care and JoBs.

The Democrats are looking to the long term.

Once illegal immigrants are granted immunity, they will register as Democrats. The Democrats will say, "We took care of you when those right wingers called you 'illegals.' We were the ones who got you into college."

It's a smart move on the part of the Democrats. They are building a voting block which will dominate both state and national politics within a few decades. The 'once illegal' vote will become the most important voting block our nation has ever seen.

The Democrats are smart. That's why they stay in power.

Our governor does not seem to care for North Carolina as does her Lt. Gov who voted to keep illegals out of the community college system. She could have been more forceful is telling the board her feelings. To please - Janet Cowell, get the Feds to do their job and send the illegals back from whence they come and we won't have an uneducated public. North Carolina was once listed as the easiest state for illegals to get driver licenses, now we will be number 1 in educating them. Why don't we add the word Illegals to the bottom of the Welcome to North Carolina signs at our states borders. Here's hoping the General Assembly will do the Governors wishes when they bring up the matter in session. This noise about paying out of state tuition is blowing smoke. We all know they pool their resources to attain a goal. Thats like building a wall to keep ants out - a waste. Whats needed is protection for residents of North Carolina now and in the future.

No one is at fault.

We now live in the age of Obama-Liberalism in which the teacher explains to us that no one is responsible for anything. (A no-fault lifestyle.) Once we accept that no one is at fault and accept that hope & change will bring only happiness will we find inner peace. I believe that highly educated illegal immigrants are our future.

I've never understood why liberals hated GWB, except he was in the way of democrats in congress who presided over the global financial crisis and are now plotting the the next 15 months of unconstitional undoing, until the next election puts a stop on the runaway socialist agenda of a Kenyan born alien who never applied for citizenship and who claimed to be a foreign student as an Indonesian on financial aid forms at Occidental College. Last time I looked Clinton was a Democrat. Or do you not count conservative Democrats?

It is not my problem because the Democrats control all parts of our federal government atleast until the 2010 elections. But you are right in that Bush W. dropped the ball on immigration. He did have a little help from both parties in that effort.

Making illegals legal will cost us the house because with the small amount of money they will earn they will in turn qualify for and take all of those tax credits you guys have put in place. Plus all of the human and drug smugglers have shown how porous our borders really are.

Please stop blaming the past and do something about it now. Remembering history is important so you do not repeat it. But constantly harping on it blinds you to the present.

Sue Myrick breaks the law by breathing given her campaign laundering. Does that make her "illegal" too or is breaking the law like any other "illegals" okay if you're her?

It's not relevant, Gigglebox, that the very people the community colleges are now going to be educating can't use that education because it's illegal for them to be hired? The community colleges are aiding and abetting illegal immigration and I don't care what other things "Sue" should be worried about, I'm glad she's worried about this important issue. I have no problem with that Paul. It'd be a nice sting. We could get rid of the smart ones that want to better themselves, but you could still keep your gardener that knows his place.

No, seriously, you made that too easy. I have no problem with enforcing the law. What I will say is this isn't one of those Dem/Rep things. This never would have been a problem without Reagen, Bush, Clinton and Bush... all Republicans, at least Internationally, which is where ILLEGALS come from.

This is a simple problem. As illegal aliens come to take college courses, simply arrest them for breaking our laws and deport them.
