More importantly....check the monies that were received by Price within a few days before he voted on a piece of legislation. Money pours in days before and after a vote....and this is common and legal practice among all politicians....BUT.....it shows you who Congress really work for....not us, not the companies supporting them....but for themselves with the main motive of getting re-elected. Really....it's all about holding on to that position as long as possible.

Paul, as I said, Price has $218,000 from folks like farmers, tractor manufacturers and military contractors? Your problem with that? Oh...

You changed the subject from your original question to what? How you've lived off the government for years and are mad Price is helping you do so?

You welfare queen bootstrap types that have no problem going to the VA but don't want the rest of us to have healthcare like you AMAZE us all.

I'm a moderate. And you are?

So giggle, no comment on the $10 million being spent at UNC-Chapell Hill to give six figure jobs to his friends. Everything seems personal to you. You cannot miss a chance for a personal slur. Keep it up so we can all see a true liberal progressive in action.

Could you post what PAC's are paying off Price?

Thankfully, that's already been compiled for you bootstrap types at fec.gov.

But I understand if you'd like Ben to call and read it to you.

I'll get you started though. I actually know how to look things up and read.

Wow, looks like the usual commies. CropScience PAC, John Deere PAC, and the Lockheed Martin Employees' PAC are prominent.

Why do you think farmers, tractor manufacturers and military contractors hate America so much Paul? Do they just not watch Glen Beck?

Looks like Price cannot say he is not in the pockets of the special interest. Could you post what PAC's are paying off Price? You have sttaed that Burr gets money from Insurance company PACS and executives. So who is Price getting paid by?

And please do not forget that $10,000,000 program that is supposed to help GI's from our wars but does nothing but pay many people 6 figure salries, all finance by pork from PRICE!

being aveteran myself I find Price to be both despicable and low when it comes to his self promoting at the expense of both taxpayers and veterans.

These people getting jobs is infuriating. Plus I heard the President is black. I think I'll hold a tea party.

Tom Fetzer makes a good point as the republican Party Head, and I listen intently every time he opens his mouth.

Ya'll are dumb.

Why has the story about the fired employee from the state treasure's office making $340,000 a year plus perhaps another $50,000 in bonuses been ignored by the N&O? Her salary was doubled by Richard Moore in one year. This seems much more corrupt than Mary Easley's salary!

It is clear that Mr. Price's interest does not align with the taxpayer's he represents. He is more than willing to fund his pet projects with taxpayer money as well as fund unscrupulous programs, such as ACORN,at his constituents expense.
I know how I will vote in 2010....

IF? Come on congressman Price-D, aren't you the one that voted to continue funding of ACORN? Sir, we all know you do not run your own household this incompently. Every I look I see payoffs and sweet retirement jobs for Democratic syncophants.

Congressman Price-(Democrat) voted to continue funding of ACORN. You know that group that is under many different investigations. And that includes more than a couple employees telling someone how to set up brothels and IRS tax avoidance. The old saying of finding one but know 15 more are out there should put us all on alert.

It's a simple question. If you have a belly button and aren't from Mars, show it to the Americans For Belly Button Purity council.

If not, you're a liar and one of them, Dallas.

"YOU LIE!"

Sky, do you really think I'm being paid to make fun of the Woodhouse Punkin'Head? Every family has one. I get the SciFi Channel and I've seen "Dallas" debate his brother. Durr, durr, Dallas is against that. Dallas say here my statement. Durrrr, durrrr, really? "Dallas" blogs here and posts what "Dallas" says? Is nobody listening but you?

Your "movement" should be flushed along with all Dallas says.

"Durr, duur, I are bright and have no idea where my special interests salary for AFP come from. I are monkey for right. Durr."

Durr.

Re: Butterfield, Price vote for ACORN funding

Looks like paid pol/ops should work a little harder posting comments. At least Woodhouse, a professional just like some other paid political posters here, uses his real name. We amateurs are going to stay anonymous.

From the Daily Telegraph (Great Britain):
"ACORN story fells the big oaks of the mainstream media"

"If there’s one story that’s had it all in the past week it’s the series of undercover reporting stings that have uncovered the true nature of ACORN – the Association of Community Organisations for Reform Now. It’s got sex, misuse of taxpayer funds, the condoning of illegal activity by officials and connections to Barack Obama.

You would be forgiven for having missed it, however, because it’s got almost no play in the mainstream media. It wasn’t the “New York Times”, CNN or NBC who broke the story. Rather, it was two twenty-something independents with a few thousand dollars, a bit of time and a lot of guts."
