I would note that this is a donation, not a loan, so he can't get it back.

thanks, alman! did you send this to the Pittenger campaign as well?

Im sure the astute Mr. Pittenger probably knows of this already. NC SO NEEDS ROBERT PITTENGER to lead the Senate!

ElectriCities of NC - Please read this Sen. Pittenger

http://www.rockymounttelegram.com/blogs/content/shared-gen/blogs/
communities/herrin/entries/2008/07/15/hey_electricities_give_us_a_br.html

Thank goodness for hometown papers. It has taken a while but we have the eastern papers talking about a serious issue of mismanagement and poor leadership at ElectriCities culminating at the feet of Jesse Tilton who registered as a lobbyist after disposing of the best lobbyists, 80% over 5 years.

The News and Observer wants readers so it can keep staff. Well, then where are your investigative reporters. Rocky Mount, Wilson, Lumberton, and the Blogs are cracking the case. Without James and Dan at BlueNC we would still be organizing but thanks to them we got exposure statewide.

Sen. Pittenger - please join us in looking at these serious problems. The cities in your area are not interested and blindly support Tilton but he is ruining the east. Those cities in your area should be concerned about his mismanagement even though their increases are not as severe. As an official running statewide, you can help us with this dilemma. Eastern NC may not recover from this.

Apologies to Dome readers for the delay in reporting this, but I wanted to get the contributions glitch cleared up first.

Hmmmm...I went and looked. He has old loans to his Senate Campaign too. It looks like they were foregiven. That would make it seem pretty likely that he's not looking to pay the loan back.

Pittenger's outstanding loan is from... his wife. Don't think the pressure to pay that one back is too high on the list right now.

Pittenger has an outstanding loan of $500,000 so he's actually $185,000 in the hole.

He has also failed to file electronically for two recent quarters.

Pittenger has $315,000 on hand and Dalton has $175,000. That spell big trouble for Dalton. If Pittenger out rasises him then goes into his deep pockets for supplemental funding, Dalton may just get overwhelmed with money.

Heck I cannot get Blue out of his lavishly decorated law office to debate me. He does however have time to announce his unconditional endorsement of the most liberal in the US Senate for President. Tax and spend till he's Blue.

Quite a statement, considering that the Russian State Duma supports closing down TV stations and newspapers "which report negatively on high state officials:"

has Mr. Dalton challenged Mr. Pittenger to public debates yet?
