Liberal blogger says "Suddenly it seems that North Carolina has a Democratic governor, one Democratic US Senator" this blogger loses all credit with this statement.

It is a fact that the Democrats have been in total control for more than 10 years. And most of the last century. So the following is the property of the Democrats:

4th highest unemployment rate in the nation.

$2 billion plus state budget deficit.

Student drop out rates that are not getting any better.

The way out of this mess is to reduce or remove the wants of state government in favor of what is needed and necesary. Reduce the tax burden on taxpayers we we will spend more. Reduce the tax burden on the businesses that hire us. And give our students the options of vocational and or collegiate atmospheres that provide us all with very qualified workers and taxpayers.

Relying on Democrats like the above that includes Easley who appears to be under federal investigation is the WRONG ANSWER!

Excellent choices for Mcguire Woods to hire Governor Easley and Mr Poole. They are both fine men and great attorneys.

What ever happened to Meredith Norris from Waynesville, Jim Black's girl who was also a lobbyist?

Supposedly she got a real estate license, but a recent check of licensed brokers at NCREC.com doesnt list her as a licensed broker under that name.
Anyone know if she's changed her name or where she is working in real estate?

Ill bet Zeb Alley knows...Zeb?

If Easley thinks the boat trailers are a hazard, how about the tractor trailers?

Freeman is so cool. I mean, to say all of that with a perfectly straight face and all -- you have to admire the utter cheesiness of it.

I bet Governor Easley sat there and received his panel's report with a straight face, too, and such purity of heart!

THANKS, GUYS! WHAT a swell job. Everybody can rest easy now because the Governor will stop deleting public records just because they aren't congenial to his political interests. Maybe he and Franklin will stop deleting peoples' jobs on that same basis.

Nah.

Our state is becoming the laughing stock of the country. This is ridiculous. He said he said he said. Accountability is lacking. Leadership is lacking. Can someone please take it on the chin and put the rest of us our of our misery?

ElectriCities is suffering from serious lack of accountability as well. Where is the leadership in this state that steps us and corrects what is wrong in the interest of the taxpayers?
