Thank you, Dana, for standing up for fat people. The Defense of a Greasy Cheeseburger Act is important. How many fatty cheeseburgers you eat in the privacy of your own kitchen is no one's business.

I hope the Defense of Fat People will go forward from here. Did you know that some stores charge more money for the larger sizes like the 2XL and 3XL and 4XL. That is ridiculous. Just because it takes three or four times the material to make the clothes is no reason to charge more. Skinny people already have all the advantages. Make them pay for us fat people! This is America and the skinny people need to accept us fat people as equals.

Us fat people cannot hide behind the "don't ask, don't tell" policy. Heck, we can't even get in the closet! Fat people should be able to be a burden on the health care system at the expense of the healthy people. That's in the Bible!

Praise the Lord.

This group is responsible for electing many of the members of the GA who propagate corruption in North Carolina.....maybe it is best that we don't hear from them...besides dog tricks are much better than what politicians tricks do to us.

I fully realize NC isn't a Union town, but I also know history and why Unions evolved. That whole Christian thing. Stupid Christians and their let's not send men to their deaths in coal mines clap trap.

Anyway... Why the hate of workers?

Unions should be only concerned with those that let them represent them. To me Unions are only about POWER and CONTROL. It is time for us to stand up to this intereference and reject their choices for our school board and other elected posts.

Maybe it's best for Wake County students that Ms. Cope folded the PAC. In our humble school in Avery County, we were taught that $1,000 given by 1,000 donors would yield $1,000,000. Must be some of that New Government Math the legislature used in justifying the raising of taxes.

I feel like a partisan fighter in the second world war, popping up and taking small-time shots at you in various and sundry threads; its like you'll never know where I'll show up next.

I'll stop, Box Goshington, but only because we are liable to be related, especially given where Quick Cheks are located, and where I'm from.

Actually, I just remembered I stopped in at a Quick Chek the other day to buy a pack of smokes. Who pays attention to those store names anyways...Quick Chek, Handee Hugos, 4/3/2 Brothers, etc.

GoshBox, I've never been to New Jersey. Born and raised in NC with family here since 1712. I'm rural as well -- grew up cleaning chicken houses and picking off ticks.

One big difference between the lottery and video poker.

Government runs the lottery.

And government doesn't want to have to compete in the marketplace for gambling dollars since anyone with half a brain knows that the lottery is the worst odds out there.
