State GOP Chairman Tom Fetzer said Tuesday's election results are good news for Republicans.

This man is a disgrace not only to the 10th District, but to all of North Carolina. His all night party shenanigans to under age children, and questionable 'real estate business' are more than enough of a reason for him to resign. This just cracks me up

Whether republicannots can perform in NC remains to be seen...they have to grow some backbone as conservatives first...its tought to overcome the most democrackkk corrupted state in the country in a year or two...

I say we OUTLAW democrackkks AND republicannots and TAKE BACK OUR COUNTRY from the two EVIL forces that have stolen it! Mandate that every candidate MUST run UNaffiliated, and cannot accept money from anyone who cannot vote for them!

Malleus, are you kidding? Marshall just announced that she's EXPLORING a race a few weeks ago, and she's done little but raise money and send out some blast e-mails to sign petitions and get supporter feedback on the issues. She hasn't hardly hired any staff other than a few consultants. That's hardly campaigning "strenuously." And the idea that she's already 10 points behind Burr, who's way under 50%, should be good news, not bad.

If you're going to malign democracy in action, at least learn to spell. And if you're going to defend Do-Nothing Burr, you might want to point something he's actually done besides obstruct what most Americans want.

For a person who hates government, you sure spend an awful lot of time running for office.

Supporting anyone but Burr means one thing. That you support the filibuster proof majority in the US Senate and it's radical socialist policies.

Wow, the Democrat primary is solidly underway with the comment: "Marshall may have bitten off more than she can actually chew. She should reconsider her candidacy."

I think calling Marshall a high-profile member of the Council of State is stretching it. If by high-profile you mean that she did not have to sue the state just to perform her job function, then yes. If you mean she has any influence or has done anything in the past decade, then no. She is a competent politician who has a donor network. She's the best the Democrats have right now.

This poll is a bad result for Marshall who has been campaigning strenuously for months. It is even worse than that - for Marshall has a high name recognition factor because she is a high-profile member of the Council of State, while Ken Lewis and Cal Cunningham are scarcely known at all. Marshall may have bitten off more than she can actually chew. She should reconsider her candidacy.

Look at what is going on with this government takeover of health care. That alone should make everyone want to keep the Democrats from keeping or getting a bigger stake in eth US Senate.

Hate to bring you all the bad news but it seems Burr isn’t as unpopular as you think. A new Civitas poll released today shows Burr with and 10 point lead over Marshall.
