Let me get this straight. Sarah Palin is announced as McCain's running mate. The Democrats immediately mount the most hate filled campaign to destroy her. She has gotten more negative press and been ridiculed more than anyone I can remember. Her personal life and religion have been laughed at and her moral values vilified. Talk about a smear campaign!

And what is she doing? She's out campaigning.

What's Obama doing? Whining.

P.S. Is Biden still running? Don't ever hear much about him. Has the press been informed that he is Obama's running mate? If he is going to be one step away from the Presidency someone should let him know. I'd hate for him to get a 3 a.m. phone call and not even know why.

The Obama campaign has repeatedly been caught up in lies...therefore this creates an air of distrust...so why not demand answers.

How come Michelle Obama's thesis is not publicly available as it once was?

If it is, please post it as I would love to read it.

How come it took this long for the Obama campaign to admit that Obama is/was in fact a citizen of Kenya?

How come his school records are not released from his time abroad?

We have a right to know.

You tell me - is spewing hate publishing venemous false rumors about Obama's religion, background, life, and political positions? Or is it calling out in no uncertain terms those who do?

We "liberals" have no issue with legitimate political discourse and disagreement. But when McCain and especially Palin and their surrogates seek to portray Senator Obama as a terrorist sympathizer and incite their supporters to scream "kill him" then enough is enough.

It's par the course for some of these liberals to spew hate whenever they can. Just visit the left-wing blogs that make BlueNC seem centrist by comparison.

Mark Erwin is the slimebag who emailed hundreds of people a scurrilous and slanderous "biography" of Barack Obama repeating all of the rumors and inuendos which have been so thoroughly discredited.
Erwin is a former supporter of Clinton who is the consumate sore loser.

There is a special place in hell reserved for Erwin and NC Republican Part Chair Linda Daves for their malicious efforts to discredit Senator Obama.

You'd think that with such a super duper plan McCain would be out stumping and swinging and proclaiming his solution, but noooooooooo instead we see this nutball calling for a time-out!

Is this what he calls grace under fire? I'd sure hate to be standing between him and the door when someone yells fire!

A reporter should ask these clowns why they think McCain's plan will work, when it clearly didn't work way back when it was called "Bush's plan."

Erwin needs to get his facts straight. Franklin Raines is not and has never been an advisor to Sen. Obama.

You would think that once the mcCain campaign has the facts pointed out to them, they wouldn't trot out otherwise respected people, prepped with statements that they may not realize, but the campaign CERTAINLY realizes, are untrue.

And I am also not surprised that McCain supporters, even nominal Democratswho now support McCain, would prefer McCain's plan. Wow. Cutting edge political reporting going on here. Further news flash, wealthy supporters of republican candidate prefer their taxes stay low while the rest of the population struggles with higher fees and taxes.

Shocker.

Wow, that's kind of surprising -- that McCain supporters would say his plan is better than Obama's. Gosh, go figure.

And one of 'em has helpfully pointed out that "someone suggested" a slur against the character of an economic advisor tied in the past to Obama.

It's sure swell of these guys to agree to a conference call with reporters to spread this important, unbiased, uninterested advice on an issue that has folks on the verge of a national freak out.

Good thing politics isn't involved, or we might have to be cautious about our sources.

So what

All this means is Mark Erwin failed to back the right candidate twice now.

Mr. Terrell:

As a Democrat, it is probably against my self interest and what I believe to be the interest of my country to offer you advice on campaigning, but as an activist and the former Vice Chair of the County Democratic Party, I like to think I know a little bit about what it takes to be a successful candidate for public office.

Hanging around trashing your opponent on newspaper comment boards? Probably not where you're going to get a lot of votes there, bub.

Here's another hint. Try to run on something other than whatever Sean Hannity said last night.

Does Erwin realize that Obama's policies are nearly identical to Clinton's, while McCain's policies are nearly the opposite, and can best be described as a continuation of the Bush years (but with more war)? Is he really that stupid? A reporter should ask Erwin which ISSUES he finds himself supporting McCain on over Obama.

Dan Blue has openly endorsed Obama and has negtively attack McCain on the behalf of Obama.

Dan Blue has made many incorrect decisions on how he votes, and this is another incorrect decision. Blue is NOT right for district 33.

The blog lists some of the big names but there is some new blood on the list as well. Don't assume that Obama has cornered the market on grassroots Democrats.
