Blackwater runs deep

Erik Prince is an opportunistic war-profiteer who took advantage of his personal connections in Washington to create a mercenary army operating outside the rule of law. He recruited top military professionals, skimming billions out of the Pentagon budget, resulting people who remained on active duty working for chump change. Blackwater is (for now) a US corporation. Our court system can and should look into Blackwater's activities and hold both individual contractors and executive leadership accountable for whatever crimes they may have committed. The IRS should also be looking into Blackwater's payroll policies to determine if Prince is evading tax laws.

Erik Prince is a hero who took the bull by the horns and provided a service that our Government could not. He protected arguably the most threatened targets in the world to day (Paul Bremer at one time had a $43 million dollar bounty on his head while travelling in Iraq!) and did not lose one! You people know that these cowardly terrorists hide behind women and children as a matter of policy as Hamas has recently proven. I hate that innocent people died to but you know these guys, some of the best disciplined in the business, did not just start shooting unarmed people. Moreover, State and DoD cannot simply rewrite policy retroactively and on a whim. By their own memorandum the courts have no jurisdiction here! I knew when the bookkeepers and accountants that make up the FBI got involved this would become a goat*&%*.

Not sure what the law is in NC, but by law ACORN is required to turn in all registrations even those they have already marked at fraudulent. It is up the state election board to detemine which ones are fakes and which are not. ACORN tires to mark all those they recognize as fake. Also, more votes have been lost by voter suppression (which is a Republican strategy) than have been gained by fraud. The less people who vote the more likely there will be a Republican victory. Also, poll workers have the right to question anyone whom they think is voting unlawfully.

What do you guys just rephrase and repost the same drivel over and over? Why don't you back up your statements with some facts?

I wish Sen. Obama would pay the bailout from his campaign funds. It would assure him of 100% of all the "alive or real" voters and at least half of the ACORN "fake" voters.

Comrade Bush and the Republican Party have been such a disaster for this country I'm surprised McCain is as close as he is -- if the media didn't love McCain so much it wouldn't be a contest at all. As McCain has become increasingly nasty and desparate, though, he's finally turned off some of his biggest fans in the press corps.

I do not think that it was necessary for Sen. Obama to spend this type money. The national main stream media has made his case for him at no cost whatsoever.

If the press loves him then so should we. They have all the answers because they are smart. So much for the free press and balanced reporting. I wonder if they will report on his failings as President or if the honeymoon will last forever. And he will of course make mistakes as have all Presidents.

Since the stock market today prices in future economic activity, Couldn't this be the stock market anticipating the very high likelihood of the first Socialist President and his plan for "community organizing" the economy.
Aside from the "Welfare Class" that he represents, business people could be taking profits and capital out of the market before the National Socialists do.
I'm glad to see Obama buying the election with fraudulently registered ACORN voters. Keep up the good work , Comrade.

We might as well get used to undeserving illegal aliens who elbow their ways to the front of the citizenship line. And of course, we'll all have a little less for our own kids because we'll be paying about two-thirds of their tuition. McCain & Obama are gonna' cost America more than their bailout supporters could imagine. I hope the younger generations don't inherit a bankrupt, third-world nation, but I'm afraid that's what these two appeasing, politically correct liberals have in mind for them.
