If Mayor McCrory knew about the negative ads before they aired, I would think that "Positive Bev" would have known as well.

But why didn't she denounce them or distance herself from them? Because she and her campaign were totally responsible for them! Bev is the one that needs to apologize, but not to Pat. Instead to North Carolina's voters for never planning to run or support a positive campaign, despite her pledge!

She really is a wolf in sheep's clothing.

"Positive Bev" is really a wolf in sheep's clothing.

If Perdue truly was "Positive Bev", she would have halted the ads beforehand or denounced the ads after they began running. But did we hear one word from Bev or her campaign about their concern for the ads? Only that she would not agree to a real debate - coward.

Bev either has no control over the national Democratic Party and the liberal labor unions in what they will broadcast, say or do in NC (that is scary) or she lied and totally planned the ads (despite her claims of "no,no,no,I don't know anything about them"). Regardless, it is obvious now that she condones the negative ads and that she never had any intention to run a positive campaign despite her pledge.

In the fable, do you know what happened to Bev, oh, I mean the wolf?

Perdue has failed to accomplish anything of substance in the last 7 plus years. She has allowed our schools to fail and our criminal justice system to let the people down, just ask certain a certain UNC student's family. It is called leadership and Perdue has displayed none. In fact the entire democratic run state government has let the people down.

McCrory put out press releases and emails before the ads even aired and falsely attributed them to Perdue:

“Here comes ‘Negative Bev’ again, attacking Pat McCrory with false and questionable charges just like she did with Richard Moore in the primary.

“While the lieutenant governor promised to run a positive campaign, she and her supporters are intentionally trying to mislead North Carolina’s voters.

McCrory needs to apologize to Perdue because he knows she was not responsible for these ads. Making false claims about them before they even aired does not make him gubernatorial material. The disclosures were filed with the State Board of Elections within the required timeframe and the sources are identifiable through IRS records.

McCrory is a weathervane who can't decide whether to support or oppose minimum wage for workers, his own minimum wage or community college tuition breaks and Jack Hawke is spinning him in a circle ready to land on the politically expedient answer of the day with all the authority of a ouija board at a frat party.

A real leader will face the "working people" of NC and let them see where they really stand on the issues. Perdue has not agreed to debates. She has agreed to forums or controlled debates. Perdue talks about issues offering no real solutions. It is all window dressing. It is unbelievable that now she is running for Gov. she talks about "world class" schools, being tough on crime, jobs and the economy. Why has she waited to "champion" those issues in an election year. Why should we believe she can lead when there has been opportunity to lead on those issues for the last 8 years?

She's been challenged MULTIPLE TIMES TO DEBATE IN ASHEVILLE but is WAY too scared to face the people of WNC!

They were dissing her today on the TAKE A STAND show, the biggest talk radio show in WNC at WWNC 570!

McCrory and Munger have agreed to debate and are waiting on Sugar Dumplin
to join them!!!

Perdue = MORE CORRUPTION WITHOUT INTERRUPTION!

Seems to me she is going to debate; so what's all the talk? I would say that the Mayor not being for a minimum wage; is pandering to the rich republicans that he wishes to represent. I don't want to hear that it's bad for business; is making a living and ensuring a workforce that can barely make it; keep up just above the poverty level? By the way Gov. Perdue is a centrist Democrat and like all the Democratic Governors before her is a friend to business; that is if the business is a friend to the people. I would also say that the two republican Governor's were not that bad either. Other than party; there probably isn't a nickels worth of difference between past Governors and Governor Perdue. I have voted straight democrat for the past 20 years, when I first could vote in 1988, but this time I am supporting McCain, and Congressman Jones for the first time. I think they are centrists.

What is Bev afraid of? She ought to know ten times more about State Government than McCrory. To hear her tell it she's been helping to run it for the past 20 years.

Not happening. Purdue is going to continue to duck McCrory, hide from the issues and give voters only what they want to hear. She'll give us one or two controlled debates, cancel the rest, throw a ton of attack ads at McCrory and give us absolutely nothing of substance.
