That could be because Dole recently spent <a href="/under_the_dome/dole_to_spend_500k_on_tv_ad">$500,00</a> airing a <a href="/under_the_dome/dole_ad_on_illegal_immigration">TV ad</a> (see a fact-check <a href="/under_the_dome/claims_dept_dole_on_immigration">here</a>) touting her bona fides on illegal immigration and held a <a href="/under_the_dome/dole_deport_illegal_immigrants">roundtable</a> on the issue.</p><p>The automated survey of 543 likely voters was conducted May 28-29.
