Wow. Your ability to deflect into an attack on Obama astounds, captsfufp.

He could have taken a shot and he didn't. Period. At the very least, it's showing restraint that Clinton has proved herself incapable of.

As to why Sen. Obama didn't "touch" her on Bosnia, I think it's more of a strategy that if he attacks her on it, it emphasizes that she WAS in Bosnia, while he was doing what at that moment? So she looks experienced, going to a war zone, more commander-in-chief. In other words, it may or may not be for "noble" reasons...

In perhaps the last debate of the Democratic presidential primary race, Barack Obama met with Hillary Clinton on a stage in Philadelphia.

Helped by questioning from the moderators, Clinton cited several areas where Obama is vulnerable, including his ties to his former pastor, his connection to a 1960s radical and Louis Farrakhan.

"This is a legitimate area," she said, "as everything is when we run for office."

Obama largely refrained from taking the bait when offered chances to go after Clinton, such as when questioning focused on her honesty and claims of sniper fire during a trip to Bosnia.

The nationally televised event at the National Constitution Center here was the 21st Democratic debate and the first in seven weeks.

Obama has not yet agreed to a proposed debate in North Carolina. (NYT)
