Clinton coming to Winston-Salem

Hillary Clinton will be in Winston-Salem Thursday.

James Romoser's Trail Mix blog reports that few details are known about the visit, which was confirmed by City Hall.

"We have been informed that Sen. Clinton will be in Winston-Salem for a few hours on Thursday evening," said Lee Garrity, Winston-Salem’s city manager.

The semi-substantiated rumor has been that Clinton would try to hit all three media markets in North Carolina during her trip. Winston-Salem would cover the Triad, and Fayetteville the eastern part of the state.

That would put the other visit somewhere around Charlotte.
