Yep, Kay Hagan really represented North Carolina well in the State Senate. Thanks to her courage and brain the state budget increased 67%, which means she knows how to Tax, Tax, Tax, Spend, Spend, Spend and she opposed the Marriage Amendment, gave illegal immigrants driver's licenses and instate tuition, and stole over a billion dollars from the Highway Trust Fund. Her big heart told her to support abortion on demand and cut funding for critical services to the mentally ill, elderly, and the disabled.

Kay Hagan is the Tin Man, the Lion, and Scarecrow rolled into one. Kay Hagan is somebody North Carolina needs in the US Senate.

We better hope Hagan makes it to the Emerald City where the Wizard of Oz can give her a heart, a brain, and some courage instead of up to Washington.

While Dole grew up in Salisbury back in the 19th century, it is my understanding that her husband is currently registered to vote in, and presumably lives in, Kansas.

We do need a senator from North Carolina again.

Kay Hagan wants to send U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Dole "home."

Speaking at a Groundhog Day event in Dunn, the state senator and candidate for the Democratic nomination for U.S. Senate said that it's time for change in Washington, the Dunn Daily Record reports.

"We need to give Sen. Elizabeth Dole a pair of ruby red slippers so she can click her heels together three times and go back to Kansas with her husband where she came from," Ms. Hagan said. "We need a senator from North Carolina again."

Dole grew up in Salisbury. Her husband, Bob, was a U.S. senator from Kansas for 27 years.

U.S. Rep. Bob Etheridge, lieutenant governor candidate Pat Smathers and state Superintendent of Public Instruction June Atkinson were also at the event.
