Hey bud, I haven't noticed anyone on your site or this one "standing" with Blackwater. If by "standing" you mean me or you mean Brunette sticking up for attorneys who abide by their codes of professional responsibility, pay attention to the point, which has nothing to do with standing up for Blackwater.

I kind of thought that - sense of humor is a good idea but also nag the hosting people as I don't think it should be that difficult for them to make it explicable!!!

The hosting company says the problem is inexplicable, and no one has been doing any site work since yesterday.

Maybe we can get Bob Orr, or perhaps someone from the McCrory campaign, to say we've been hacked!

What's next? Is some thug going to threaten an honorable citizen like Marshall Adame with "extraordinary rendition"?

Incidentally, Mr. Mathews, I don't see your personal phone number listed in your email. Perhaps you are implicitly acknowledging the legitimacy of avoiding harassment such as that you have sought to instigate.

Bravo to the Dome for airing this story. It's laughably stupid for Matthews to allow his name to be attached to something so crude. I can't wait to hear his comment, and I can just imagine his attorneys cringing.

It a shame Bill Mathews didn't take his own advice.

You'd think an executive would be able to defend his company without resorting to threats. Particularly given the staggering amount of taxpayer money that company receives.

running the mercenary circus, it's no wonder Blackwater lurches from one screw-up to another every day in Iraq. I only hope he lives long enough to regret his attack on an honorable veteran.

Marshall Adame should be the sort of Congressional candidate Blackwater would get behind.

He's a retired Marine. He's worked in Iraq for the State Department and for The Sandi Group Intl., a military contractor. Both his sons have served with the Army in Iraq. But he spoke his mind online:

I have interacted with many mercenary groups, including Blackwater. There is no place in the American force structure, or in American culture for mercenaries. They are guns for hire; No more, no less. The primary motivation is money. In most cases it does not matter who's money. Private Security Organizations as extensive as Blackwater, for example, should not be allowed to operate in war zones as augments of the United States of America. Private Armies represent the very things we depise as a people. Servants to the highest bidder with true allegiance to no-one.

This generated nastygrams from Blackwater supporters, including an e-mail from Blackwater VP Bill Matthews, who asked for people to help "run this goof out of Dodge."
