Thomas Wright should resign.</p><p>In an <a href="http://www.newsobserver.com/opinion/editorials/story/825031.html">unsigned editorial </a>today, the Raleigh newspaper said that the Wilmington Democrat is &quot;presumed innocent&quot; of the <a href="/under_the_dome/wrights_indictments">six corruption charges</a> handed down by a Wake County grand jury Monday.</p><blockquote><p>But his situation is an embarrassment to the legislature, to his party and to the public.
