I called Moore out on the NC Cash scheme a long, long time ago. Some of us on the progressive fringe are doing our part to restore integrity to government. Wish you guys would spend some time cleaning up your side of the aisle.

You're right, Jim, and as mentioned in a comment on the other post, Democrats on the CoS would never stoop to that level. Hey, isn't it about the right time for those Roy Cooper id theft commercials to start up again? How about the ones featuring Moore about unclaimed property? Oh wait, he's busy pushing that at the state fair. Unbelievable.

It's tempting to say, "unbelievable" in the face of this shameless self-promotion. But sadly, it is totally believable.

Go to the website and you'll find a first-level navigation bar plastered with the words "STATE AUDITOR LESS MERIT" as though anyone with any sense actually cares to read the self-serving bulloney he's written there.

Politicians who feature themselves prominently in tax-payer funded promotional campaigns ought to be fined for their sleaze. You can be sure I'll be filing a FRAUD-WASTE-ABUSE claim against Less Merit for his predictably bad judgment in this instance.
