Well said. The respondent has left messages like this one on a regular basis on a range of topics so we all pretty know now about the stupidity of the blogger. Haven't see one yet where this person actually knew anything other than new words for Democrat. I suspect this person is paid to leave their anti-democrat rhetoric. The Bill Graham camp of consultants pulls stunts like this all the time to try to create a false impression of strength where there is none.

Miss Hagan made a smart decision...not sure Martin is.

Has he had tea with the upper echelon yet to see if he is worthy?

He might get some razzin in the barracks if they find out he's a silly democreep...

Hey wuptdo, you might want to not leave a message in such a public place to show how stupid you are. All the "Chickenhawks" are in the republican party and, like you, are all cowards. Democrats are the true Heroes in this nation by opposing the Bush regimen and his crime family. Democrats are the only party that supports the troops by working to bring them home from this 'republican war'!

An Army reservist and a democrat. Isn't that illegal in North Carolina, or at least enough for the "party" to remove him. I thought democrats prided themselves in their cowardice?

Martin to decide this week

State Rep. Grier Martin hopes to decide this week.

The Raleigh Democrat has been considering since June whether to run for the Democratic nomination to challenge Republican Sen. Elizabeth Dole.

"I'd like to sort it out this week," he said.

Next week, Martin, who is a major in the Army Reserves, will begin a month's training at Fort Bragg. A two-term legislator and attorney, he served in Afghanistan in 2002-2003, Rob Christensen reports.

"I'm convinced that the race is winnable and its winnable by me,” Martin said. "All, I'm looking at now is the effect it would have on my family."

State Sen. Kay Hagan of Greensboro has also been looking at the race.

Jim Neal, a Chapel Hill investment banker and former Democratic fund raiser, has announced he will run.
