Thirty-two representatives switched from approving to rejecting incentives.

During a vote on Aug. 2, the legislators voted for an incentives bill to benefit Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. in Fayetteville, but they voted against a compromise alternative today.

All but one of the legislators — Rep. Paul Luebke, a Durham Democrat — are Republican.

They are: Reps. Marilyn Avila, Curtis Blackwood, John Blust, Joe Boylan, George Cleveland, William Current, Leo Daughtry, Nelson Dollar, Dale Folwell, Phillip Frye, Mitch Gillespie, Robert Grady, Jim Gulley, Bryan Holloway, Julia Howard, Linda Johnson, Carolyn Justice, James Langdon, David Lewis, Pat McElraft, Bill McGee, Tim Moore, Wil Neumann, Ruth Samuelson, Mitchell Setzer, Fred Steen, Charles Thomas, Thom Tillis, Trudi Walend, Roger West and Laura Wiley.

None of the House members who voted against the bill on Aug. 2 switched to supporting the compromise, though a few have excused absences or did not vote.
